Vermont Victorian oak fireplace mantelpiece and overmantel. Circa 1880-1900. Size: 60 inches width x 90 5/8 inches height x 12 inches depth. This ornate fireplace with mirror back was removed from a Victorian residence in Rutland, Vermont. It is entirely original and includes the mantelpiece with carved floral corner spandrels and transom, which features a 36 inches height x 41 inches fireplace opening...

English Arts and Crafts era hall tree, Shepherd and Hedger, Southampton. Circa 1900. All original with round, tilting beveled glass mirror, metal coat hooks (4 large, 2 small and 2 swivel), two umbrella/cane holders with carved barley twist front supports and tin drip pans, lift-up seat with storage beneath, and decorative beading. Size: 77" ht. x 45" wide x 13" deep. Original maker's label on reverse. Excellent condition.

Large English Victorian sarcophagus form tea caddy, fashioned of rosewood veneers with mother-of-pearl floral inlay to cover and front, resting on compressed ball feet. Two lidded interior tea storage compartments with traces of original tinning, but missing the original glass mixing bowl. Mid 19th century. Very nice condition, with some minor chipping at corners, tight crack on back, and with some inlay missing on cover and escutcheon. Size: 12 3/8" long x 6 1/4" deep x 7 1/2" high.

Antique Goyard Trunk, early 1900's, from the estate of noted Opera Soprano Geraldine Farrar (America, b. 1882; d. 1967). She had her Metropolitan Opera debut in 1906, and performed opposite Enrico Caruso in 1907 in the American premiere of Madame Butterfly, and was later a celebrated Carmen. She retired from Opera in 1922. She was also a silent film star, debuting in Carmen directed by Cecil B. DeMille, starring in 13 films in her career...

A New England Queen Anne highboy, circa 1750, in cherry, being a marriage of a period base with a period top. The proportions and color of the two components mesh very nicely, though the secondary woods differ, white pine versus chestnut. Found in a New Hampshire home. A matching pair of Shaker #3 rockers from the Mount Lebanon, NY community. 19th century. Each chair bears a '3' branded on the upper back slat, and one chair displays a Mt. Lebanon manufacturer's stamp on the third back slat. Excellent condition, retaining an old pecan colored finish and with woven beige and blue cloth tape seats. There is a minor split to one leg where it joins with the runner (but still structurally sound). Dimensions: 34" ht. x 19 3/8" width x 25" depth.
