A late 19th - early 20th century "Yun" lacquered betel box with incised design of two horses and riders, elephant and dancers. The box is divided into three pieces. The bottom part for betel leaves and the top part for lime, areca nuts, clove and other ingredients. Size: H. 10.5cm. Diameter. 21cm. Condition: No repairs. Some age cracking.

A ceremonial cylinder used by Senior Monks to send letters to each other. The animal in the panel is a "balu-gwin" Size: H. 33.5 cm. Base diameter: 5.8cm. Condition: Normal wear, no repairs.

Well balance potted in globular shape, short neck and decorated with four branch of nice cobalt blue lotus flower. Condition is perfect. Vietnam's 14th/15th century. High: 6.1cm.

This ancient conch shell bead from the Pyu period and dates back to around the first century. It represents the emblem of the voice of Buddha preaching the laws of his doctrine, and occurs as one of the auspicious signs on the "Footprint of Buddha". Size: L. 2.2cm. Condition: No repairs. In the enlarged photos you will see the natural faults of the stone but is not very noticeable with the naked eye.

A very fine gilded bronze Buddha, sitting on Naga. H. 17 cm. Condition: Casting flawa, chips to the foot rim, the Naga head, which used to be behind the Buddha head, is missing. Nevertheless a very attractive piece with a serene expression.

A Vietnamese blue and white porcelain jarlet. Painterly chrysanthemum blooms and leafage decoration freely rendered and with some oxidized, heaped cobalt. Fair to good condition: There are three points where old, hard wax has been applied presumably to smooth kiln faults and possible a small rim chip if not just another kiln fault (we don't like to restore items or interfere with old conservation.) With very fine engraving of fighting cockerels against a floral background. 19th century. H. 8 cm, W. 7,5 cm, D. 3,5 cm. Weight 187 gr.

An unusual and interesting straw glazed porcelaneous incense burner. The three footed bombe censer with barbed, loop handles on opposite sides along the waist flaring to a broad rim. The interior reveals the pot was built from coiling and smoothed without before glazed and fired. Good condition for its type and likely age. Minor old chips to the extremities of the loop handles and one small chip to the outside of the rim...

A finely decorated Vietnamese blue and white porcelain bowl. Thinly potted and with a crackled glaze over blue and white aquatic decoration suggesting waves on the bowl's exterior, a conch shell inside the cavetto and surrounded by a variety of blossoming flowers among grasses. Good condition with expected wear including a couple minor chips inside the foot rim and light abrasion inside the bowl. Diameter at widest point 6 1/8 inches (15.56cm). Height about 3 1/16 inches (7.78cm)

A very rare crystal tiger from Burma/Thailand. Crystal was thought to have magical powers and the tiger represents strength. It is unknown how they drilled the holes to make it wearable.As you can see they were drilled at both ends, probably before the crystal was carved. Age: over two thousand years old. Size: L. 3cm. W. 1.5cm Condition: Perfect.
