Chinese Yuan to Ming dynasty Longquan celadon dish with everted barbed rim, the center nicely carved with a floral pattern surrounded by stylized incised floral patterns on the cavetto. Description:
A black-glazed tea bowl was in a unique form.
Apparently caused by firing effects, the surface of the glaze was transformed to a mysterious image that was charming and different.
It was not sure if it was intentionally finished by an ingenious potter or just an accidental surprise.
But it was indeed a unique and sought-after piece for real connoisseur.

This attractive model of a horse and rider was made during the Northern Wei Dynasty (AD 386 - 534). An 18th-early 19th century Literati landscape featuring a scholars gathering in a forest of pines on one side, a pair of boats pulling up to a hermitage on the other. These are published in the book Jidai Byobu Shuei (pre-restoration, pages 76 and 77). They have been completely restored maintaining the original cloth border and are in superb condition. Each screen measures 70-1/2 x 150-1/2 inches (179 x 382 cm)...
