Description: A Yinquing ewer or water dropper was kept with its original cap. Produced from Jindezheng of Jiangxi province, it was an exquisite Qingbai(bluish white) porcelain manufactured in one of the Hutien kilns. On the surface, when motifs of flowers were framed with 16 different sectors, subtle pinhead incursions were randomly spread in the bluish glaze. It happened to the surface of the cap too. This small oil lamp has a floral motif cloisonne base and glass globe. An artifact of the Qing dynasty, this style lamp was often referred to as an opium lamp, presummably because of their use in the opium dens of that period.

Deep rounded form with steeps side and slight indentation belom the everted rim, covered in lustrous caramel-brown glaze streaked with black element emanating from the central flattened base of the interior, the glaze thinning to a dark brown colour at the upper end, the exterior similarly decorated the glaze falling short of the foort with sumptuous globules dripping over the body burnt a brown in the firing.
