Description:

A black-glazed water coupe was decorated nicely on the surface with splashed marks.
In nice oval shape, it was in very good condition obtaining foggy incursions to the glaze. Another ware in similar glaze effect is in the documentation.

It comes enclosed in a double wooden box annotated by Konishi Fukunen (1887-1959) and bears a label from the Daimaru Department Store. Fukunen was one of Shonens most famous pupils. The ink and light color on paper image is bordered in a superb brocade mounting with solid ivory rollers...

In round shape, the cover was decorated on the surface with carved motifs of peony flowers.
In the basin, there're squeezed and mold lotus plants were well rendered and adhered to the cavetto.
The over all condition of the box was perfect when some incursions were happened to the ridges and rims...

The rectangular copper plaque with nicely rendered and detailed repousse decoration and chased details of three Bodhisattvas atop a central zodiacal medallion flanked by Apsaras and supported by two lotus roundels - one with trigrams and the other a lotus blossom with rich, impressed sanskrit. Other decoration throughout including large stylized sanskrit, small sanskrit labeling figures and narrating devices and the whole, and various tantric symbols...

A mother-of-pearl and bone inlaid wood crucifix, fixed on a pyramidal base and with affixed cylinders. Decorated with symbols of the Franciscan order, geometric and floral patterns. The origin (and age)of these crosses is still not evident, they are attributed to the Near East, specifically the Jerusalem area or the Indian Subcontinent, Gujarat. Condition: few missing inlays, few cracks, reverse with oldly filled cracks, top of base with apparently missing inlays...

A large Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) cold-painted pot from an old Japanese scholar collection enclosed in an ancient kiri-wood storage box bearing a great many stamps inside the lid. The fine clay is covered in elaborate designs in red, white brown and orange pigment. The piece is 11 inches (28 cm) tall. There is minor damage to the rim but no repair or restoration; a fine example of Han Dynasty painted pottery in fine condition.

A rarely seen image of Vaishnavi, the consort of Lord Vishnu and also one of the eight Matrikas. Excellent casting, nice wear and patina due to Puja worship. H. 14 cm (5,5 inch), W. 10 cm (4 inch). Provenance: private collection Belgium.

A kyusu teapot with attrative, unctuous rust-orange highlighted opaque off-white Shino glaze. Two character artist's signature incised to the pottery body within a reserve in the glaze. Good condition save a miniscule flea bite to the flaze on the tip of the spout. Pot diameter about 5 1/4 inches. Cover diameter about 3 1/2 inches. Length including handle about 7 3/4 inches. Height to cover handle about 4 inches. 20th century.

A nice bowl, decorated with three fishes in Iron-Black glaze. Condition is perfect, no any chip, no crack and free from any restoration. Yuan to Early Ming 14th century Cizhou ware. Diameter: 17cm.

In unique shaped of circular box, lower part decorated with lotus petals and the cover with a lion seated figure which three holes to the wall, it's probably used for incense burner. Covered overall with Qingbai near to Celadon glaze. Late Song-Yuan dynasty 12th-13th century. Condition is perfect. Diameter: 9.1cm and Height: 14.5cm.

A nice b/w dish with fluted sides potted to exterior, decorated with winged dragon to the interior center. Ming dynasty 16th century, Zhengde period. Condition with a hairline and minor fretting to flower shape rim, otherwise is perfect, no crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 32.5 cm.

Uniquely there were squeezed and applied motifs of dragon and phoenix being decorated on two sides of the surface separately.
The coarse but dense-quality body clay was revealed at the bottom including the feet.
The feet were squeezed and applied to the bottom when potter's finger-mail prints were being left to the body clay...

Description:

A russet-glazed Yuhuchun vase was well mold in decent look.
Fine glaze in retrospective sheen was applied on the surface when greasy-feel body clay was revealed at the bottom in brownish tint.
The vase was preserved in nearly perfect condition when two minute and shallow glaze chips were found under the flaring mouth rim.(see picture 3 )
They were being restored and were not noticeable from usually watching angles...
