An interesting and beautiful jar covered in a celadon glaze producing the crackles of the Geyao type glaze. The recessed base is glazed while the foot rim is dressed with an iron brown wash. Description:
An ovoid covered jar was in a decent size of 31cm in height.
In a perfect condition and owned the original cap, the ancient ware was uniquely decorated on top and on the body with whitish splashes.
The vessel stands on a small, solid foot with flat bottom.
Applied with dark tea-dust slip on most of the surface, the grayish white body clay was revealed underneath.
Enduring old clay verified its date.
