Chinese Song Dynasty Six-Lobed Qingbai Porcelain Bowl

This unusual porcelain bowl was made during the 12th - 13th century. The inner surface is moulded into six panels. It is coated in a very finely-crackled qingbai glaze that is pale green with just a hint of blue. The rim remains unglazed as does the flat base.

Fine Japanese 18th Century Imari Porcelain Dish 27.5cm

Dating to the 18th century, this fine dish is attractively decorated in the Imari colours, underglaze blue, red enamel and gilt. In the centre is a fenced-in tree in underglaze blue with red and gold leaves. Surrounding the central panel on top of the underglaze blue are red and gold peonies and three birds. A beautiful and rare glass stupa from the Pyu area.Most of the glass has turned into a beautiful iridescent color which gives a wonderful feeling to this piece. The stupa is unusual as it has a hollow opening in the center. Age: 100 AD. Size: H. 1.9cm. W. At the base. 1.9cm. Condition: A small piece is missing at the base and because it is iridescent at the part also it probably was made that way.

Rarely encountered Japanese pencil-signed limited edition sosaku hanga woodblock print by Tokuriki Tomikichiro (1902-2000) titled “Loquat Tree” dating circa 1950. The white title is set against the cobalt blue background at the upper right. The print is pencil signed "T. Tokuriki" and numbered 11/200 at the bottom.
