Fine Korean Koryo Dynasty Bronze Bowl, Spoon & Chopsticks

This fine, high quality bronze bowl and utensils were made during the Koryo Dynasty (AD 918 - 1392) but more specifically during the 13th century. The wall of the bowl is particularly thin as it was made by the spinning technique as opposed to having been cast (see below for more information). Description:

A green-glazed jarlet was mold in a trumpet form.
On the wide shoulder, a circular band of flower motifs were decorated in a fine look.
It was well preserved except some old frets were found on the rims.
Fine crackles and iridescence condition were yielded due to age.

Description: In elegant shape and beautiful sky-blue glaze, the lotus-bud bowl was originated from Jun kiln of Song Dynasty. Jun wares were among the five unique kilns of Song Dynasty. They were famous for their sophisticated blue and sometime purplish kiln effect. Maybe there’s no purplish glaze effect here for this piece, but the well proportioned shape and the evenly applied blue glaze rendered had fully yielded the elegant mood of the Song ware...

The vase has a globular body and tall long neck flanked by tubular handles, and is covered allover in a guan type glaze of slightly bluish green which falls in a line above the glazed base. 21 cm high Three tiny chips on the base, no cracks or hairlines and free from restorations.
