Blue & White dish, decorated with a Leaf and a Poem, Early Ching period. Condition is good except tiny flake chips to the inner mouth rim, otherwise is perfect. Diameter: 18 cm.

Description: A Temmoko bowl from Jianyang kiln of Song Dynasty was excavated rarely with metal wrappings around the mouth rim. Fragile of the wrappings, the bowl was in beautiful hare’s-fur glaze. The bowl was molded in regular shape and was typical in the size of general Jianyang bowls. Classic Jian ware has a coarse, slate gray to black body that usually fires purplish brown where exposed, but in some cases fire medium to dark gray, as it has in this example...

A blue & white bowl, decorated outside with a fish scale pattern and inside with a vajra form in the center within double circle and on the cavetto wall with hanging scroll motif. It's kind a typical of Ming dynasty late 15th century exported wares to South East Asian region, especially to Indonesia. Condition: one hairline crack about (4cm) visible on enlargement 2, no chips and free from any restoration. Diameter: 14.6 cm, High: 7 cm.

A very rare found of Celadon pear shaped ewer, slight thickly well potted, decorated to the body with divided into six panels and incised with Ruyi pattern to each panel, further is plain and covered overall with bluish green glaze. Possibly Song dynasty Yue wares or Longquan wares. Condition with two flake chips to rim, one on the front side and the other to back side, also two hairlines appears, further like the body in perfect condition. High: 25,5cm and wide maximum: 22cm

 

Description: An ancient inkstone called Qing-Shi (green stone)inkstone was from northern China of Song Dynasty. In plain square form(Chao-Sou style), the ink pool was in a shape of Ru-Yi. With original light gray tint, the patina was dotted with black ink left by users. The middle of the surface was concave by long time of using. As to the quality, the inkstone is quite hefty as it was call Qing-Shi(green stone)...

Description: A piece of rootwood was adapted as a water dropper which was used by the Chinese scholars. Coloured inside with black paint for protection and to waterproof, the surface shone with old patina of dark brown. With intriguing shape and a savor of bookishness, this small piece yielded a true sense of Chinese scholar's connoisseurship. Description:

A Junyao dish was in charming bluish tint when strokes of purple splashes were on the side for decoration.
By nice curving of the surface, and the well defined foot ring, the dish was supposed being used as a brush-licker for adjusting the moisture of the brush hair.
Enduring through the long age, the foggy incursion in beige tint was yielded on the rim and along the rising portion by obvious characteristics.

A rare underglazed copper red vase "Yu Hu Chun", decorated on Chingpai body with Camelia and Chrysanthemum. Yuan dynasty (1279-1368) excavated pieces was found in Indonesia...

Description: A silver folding comb was exquisitely decorated on the surface. By excellent chasing skill, a pair of dragon and phoenix were vibrantly rendered among the scrolling cloud. In another side, the surface was in plain form. The whole quality of this piece was very good and was reflected with enduring darken patina. Date: Qing dynasty(19th century), Length: 8.2cm(folded) and 15cm(unfolded).

Description: A strand of rosaries was assembled by 108 pieces of old Zhi-Tan beads. Among them, old coral and elephant bone beads were decorated. Old beads were getting hard to find. All these beads were believed from Tibet, now were ingeniously strung as a decoration item. Date: Late 19th Century.

A small blue & white bowl, decorated outside with nine panels of Aster and inside the center with Aster heads. Ching dynasty Kangxi period (1622-1722). Condition is perfect with no any cracks and no chips, also flawless. Diameter: 10.7 cm and High: 5.6 cm.

Description: A wood sculpture of a Daoist figure Kui-Xing was rendered in special form. Wearing the official robe, holding a scroll and sitting on a rock stool, the figure was in an image that differed from those that we've commonly seen. Another Kui-Xing, in terracotta quality was listed as lot069 in my listings. It was molded in a posture standing in one bare foot on the head of a Dragon Fish. It was the typical form...

Description:

A stylized Ruyi was rarely found by cast bronze quality.
In unique and beautiful plum flowers and branches form, the bronze Ruyi was put firmly on a stand as a treasured item or on a desk as a nice brush-rest.
It was in quite good size which was rarely found too.
The darken patina was yielded due to age when the overall condition is perfect.
