Today I have a big 1.5in. tall necklace to offer with an incredible presence. How can I describe this piece other than to say it looks like an Aguilar or Spratling design but it is an original design marked with TAXCO 980. There are no dents to the balls and the silver work has no damage. The weight is 105 grams of quality workmanship. Being 19 inches long there is room enough to fit most. Very much in the early style of Fred Davis, a vintage Deco Taxco necklace wrought in almost pure, 980 silver. This is a classy, substantial piece with its shield form links made out of silver sheet with good thickness and adorned with applied repousse semi-spheres, etching and bezel set amethyst cabochons. Iconic vintage, hand wrought sterling silver cuff bracelet designed and signed circa 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. A 14k white gold man's diamond with black onyx bullseye ring by Birks from the late 1930s 1950. This vintage size 7 men's ring by Birks Canada has a central 21 point genuine diamond which has a round black onyx stone bezel set around the centre stone. It is stamped BIRKS and 14 K and another mark. The whole ring is white gold, and was custom made at Birks. The ring comes with an independent gemologist's appraisal for $2000CAN...

Impressive handcrafted sterling silver and turquoise cufflinks designed and signed (c.1950)by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-1986). Each link measures 1 1/2" X 1". Comprised of heavy gauge silver with applied beading and centered with a bezel set diamond shaped turquoise stone. Aguilar designs can be seen in museum collections around the world. This is a great sterling silver repousse letter opener by the prominent Baltimore silver smiths Kirk and son. The 5 7/8” long sterling letter opener is vermeil (gold plated) and not counting some minor scratches is in very good condition. The letter opener is hallmarked Kirk & Son and Sterling.
