 SOLD - Thank you!
Stupendous Rivera sterling silver necklace in emulation of Matilde Poulat's bejeweled jewelry, this is an early piece, very well made and an excellent alternative for all of us who either can't find a Matl or shy away from the prices her creations command. Constructed of two-part, articulated links the necklace sits like a dream around the neck and feels royal. As you can see in one of the photos, the matching earrings are also currently available in my inventory (just ask!) and the demi is truly spectacular. Measuring a wearable 14 7/8" long (measuring the inner circumference) the necklace is just shy of 1 5/8" wide and weighs 94.3 grams. Signed with Rivera's name as well as "HECHO EN MEXICO 925", this is a pre-1948, early Matl-esque piece exhibiting very good craftsmanship and attention to detail. In excellent vintage condition and a true heirloom.
