Measuring 11 3/4" high and 4" across base, this Okimono of a Bijin holds a scroll, which has unfurled to her feet, where a cat plays with it. In rich colors and heavy enamel, the figure is both serene and elegant. Nice detail on the robes and clothing, with gilt details on her hair ornaments and along the edge of the scroll. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or losses to enamel. Late Meiji, ca 1900

Beautifully sculpted and cast bronze of Bacchus, the God of wine (Le Vin) dancing and reaching down toward a child or baby faun, by noted French artist Louis Holweck (1861-1935).
The sculpture measures 21 1/2" high, 6 1/2' wide, and 6" deep.
The bronze is signed on the base in front "Le Vin", on one side with the artists's signature, and on another side with the foundry mark of J F'Deur, the French foundry...

Steam coils about the petit young woman at the public bath, a fine Taisho era painting signed Ikuho. The color blends into the silk, leaving a soft edge enhancing the sense she is being viewed through the steam and heat of the bath. Pigment on silk, mounted later in green patterned cloth extended with grey and featuring wooden rollers. As pictures of nudes were forbidden, Ikuho is likely a pen-name, possibly taken from Ikuho Street in Northern Kyoto city where the artist may have resided...

This vintage retro wide bangle measures 8-1/2" in circumference, 2-1/2" x 2-1/4" across the interior wall, and it is 1-1/8" wide. It has a safety chain, a box clasp and it is engraved on one half with the design extending into the undecorated half at the hinge and clasp. It has never been monogrammed, it is unsigned and it weighs 48.7 grams...

Beautifully sculpted from one piece of wood, this horse and rider sail effortlessly over a fence. The sculpture measures 16" high, approximately 19" from end of board to tip of horses nose, and the wood base is 13 1/4" x 4 1/4". The two back legs are one piece, just to support the body of the horse and rider. Every bit of the surface is slightly textured, like the hammer marks on silver, and gives the piece a lovely sheen and patina...
An Art Deco 14k yellow gold 3 diamonds ring from the 1920s size 6. This lovely, well designed ring features three nice quality diamonds in a white gold upper. The central diamond measures 4 points by gauge and the other two flanking diamonds are approximately 1.5 points each.
