Measuring 7 3/4 inches long, this VERY RARE, 1930’s VINTAGE, Cast Iron, Black Man Chef spoon rest retains most of its original gold paint suggesting that it saw minimal actual use! The well-appointed Black Chef sports a very wide grin and holds a bowl of eggs in his right arm and a wooden mixing spoon in his left.

He is in very fine condition with a smattering of teeny superficial dings to the front side paint surface as well as some very superficial rusting here and there...

Measuring 4 inches high, this very visually appealing, VINTAGE, solid brass Grinning Black Man with Bowtie Bottle Opener is in near excellent condition with very minimal wear! Scarcely used, he still retains 90% of his original black and gold paint! Designed to be mounted to the wall via three screws, it is quite likely this bottle opener saw little use given its excellent condition! A fabulous find!

Striking sterling necklace by Reveriano Castillo. He was among the first apprentices with William Spratling and later worked with Hector Aguilar at the Taller Borda. In 1952, he and Maria Castillo opened their own shop that they called "REVERI". This necklace is simple and elegant as typical of their style. It measures 16" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 68 grams. Fine original condition and signed with his RC mark as shown. Feels and looks wonderful on the neck.

A fabulous and unusual 2 1/4" wide sterling cuff with pearls and onyx by Los Ballesteros. The scalloped edges really dress up this piece. It measures 6" around in the inside and has a 1 1/4" opening. It is not adjustable and weighs 66 grams.This is an early piece, c. 1945. Fine original condition and hallmarked for Los Ballesteros as shown. This is a beautiful cuff.

Look carefully as this may well be a very early as found example of a Victorian smaller neck Barrel Clasp Graduated Faceted from 8 to 17 mm Rich Red Cherry Amber choker bead necklace. It appears that at some early point the Original 14.5" choker was made longer to 16" when one of the earlier owners may have added eight 6mm faceted citrine color cut glass beads, still retaining its early super condition cherry amber barrel clasp.

Here is a fine squat jar form vase, the deep red clay covered in fish-eyed tenmoku glaze by Living National Treasure (Ningen Kokuho) Shimizu Uichi (1926-2004), enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Iron red shows through with startling effect like meteorites in a dark night sky of blue and brown. It measures 6-1/2 inches (16.5 cm) tall, the same diameter.
