This Los Castillo design 262 is an early one created when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Don Antonio Castillo. I believe these early pieces are the very best of her work. Scarce mini Coalport cabinet cup and saucer with turquoise and red enameled jewels on a canary yellow glaze ground with gilded accents and gilded interior. Circa 1890s. Fluted shape. Size: 3.5 inches diameter saucer; 1.75 inches ht. cup. Excellent condition, no chips or lines, no wear to gilding or jewels.

This Matl by Matilde Poulat is a rare design and bears the old Hallmarks when Matilde was working and designing in her shop. Under the stones the silver is cut out so light can pour through. One stone looks darker and that because one ingot mark is over part of the cut work. The stones display a higher quality than we normally see and that does attest to the quality of it being an old bracelet...

This Japanese Netsuke Brooch was made by Los Castillo before 1948 and bares the old linear hallmark as shown. The carving is very well done. This is a large brooch at 3 7/8th's in. x 3.75in. The weight is 49 grams heavy. No chips or dents and the green poured glass is not discolored. A treasure that is sought after and will not disappoint.

An oil on canvas painting by famed artist Waki Shiro depicting the Moss Temple (Koke-dera) in Matsuo, Arashiyama. It is performed with unreasonably thick pigments and textures, rising 1/2 an inch (1 cm) of the canvas surface.
