A hand engraved sterling silver hinged bangle bracelet from the 1930s. It measures 2-3/8" x 2-1/8" across the interior, and it is 1/2" wide. It has a safety chain, a box clasp and it is engraved on one half. It is stamped STERLING and WRJ (for W.R. Johnson of Toronto) and it weighs 19.5 grams. It is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs however it has a MARIE name engraved on the undecorated side...

We have a William Spratling bracelet one inch tall with thick tubes of silver wrapping around in three tiered sections. There are amethyst stones the shape of teats all around the bracelet. All are original to the bracelet with no cracks or chips. No dents to the silver as well. The bracelet will fit a small wrist and not over 6 inches. I have never seen this design in a larger size. Properly hallmarked as shown with a very dark and natural patina. A rare treasure.
