An astounding and extremely rare sterling pill box in the form of an articulated fish by William Spratling.The head of the fish opens to reveal a 1" deep compartment to keep whatever you wish. An incredible amount of work went in to the burl-like lacquer finish of this early 20th century three-drawered calligraphy box. All surfaces excepting the bottom are covered in the unusual mottled finish known as wakasa, made by spattering on layers of various colored lacquers which are then rubbed down to a smooth, marbleized finish. Just when one thinks the artist has finished, the process is repeated. This small piece of furniture is the finest example of this technique we have come across...

Perfect for the Power Finger, this wrap, crossover deeply engraved, chased ring marked: "A. Cazares" & Taxco Mexico 925, reminding one of the work by the early famous Taxco silversmiths Aguilar, Castillo, etc. Presently at 7, yet can be adjusted up or down at will. Is 1.75" long with a shank of 1/4" at the narrowest. Very nice at 10 Grams.

19th Century Japanese Blue & White Hirado Pierce Censer

The censer is 8 inches tall, and 5 inches wide.

It has been repaired where part of one handle has been replaced, some of the flower petals are also been replaced, chips at the flower petals, and one foot may have been glued back (as seen in the photos).

A delightful and visually appealing Black Memorabilia kitchen item!

This circa 1940's Mammy and Uncle Mose ceramic Vinegar and Oil Set is marked "JAPAN" on each figure's base.

The pair measures approximately 5.25 inches tall and is in wonderful, all original condition! No chips, cracks or repairs. Mild surface crazing present as is appropriate to the age. Uncle Mose is missing a portion of his original cork neck stopper - a very minor inconvenience!

A very charming sterling necklace by Margot De Taxco which is highly ornamented with a leaf and berry motif and a bow on each side. It is a collar necklace that opens in the front and is hinged in the back. It will fit up to a 14"neck which is about average. It is 1" wide in the front and tapers to 3/8" in the back. It is in fine original condition and weighs 94 grams. Signed and numbered for Margot as shown. A very elegant piece.

Smashing, LARGE mixed metals belt buckle in the form of a fish by Antonio Pineda. Although several of the Taxco silversmiths worked with mixed metals, I have never seen a piece before in mixed metals by Antonio so I would think this belt buckle to be quite rare.
