Description:
A decent vase with three looped handles was in charming straw glaze.
Applied characteristically on the upper portion of the surface with yellowish glaze, the well shaped bottle was revealed otherwise with beige tint on the body clay.
It was caused by kiln firing.
The actual clay tint was grayish and was revealed under the faded glaze...

A small square gold lacquer Japanese incense container with rounded corners. The lid is decorated with a relief of waves and rocks, inlaid in mother-of-pearl and lead. Interior and base with nashiji, the rims covered with lead. Later tomobako. Dimension: c. 9.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 2.5 cm. Condition: few traces of usage, a tiny chip (see photo No. 2 at 2 o'clock).

Similar Pendant seen on pg 146 of Ettinger's Popular Jewelry 1840-1940 2nd edition. Perfect enamel and stone is in great shape with some gilt off the brass through out the shank and back.

This handsome dirk pin features finely banded agate cased in a hand-engraved "sheath"; the hilt of the knife features a cabochon agate stone. A vintage c1930s ornate pair of sterling silver open salt dishes in the form of winged swans with cobalt glass salt dishes. The swans have fine detail and embossing along with openwork; the wings are riveted with silver plate on brass pins. These fine table decorations measure 3" long and 3" tall. The swans test as silver (they are unmarked) and the wings pivot a bit, and this fine set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...
