Description:
A decent vase with three looped handles was in charming straw glaze.
Applied characteristically on the upper portion of the surface with yellowish glaze, the well shaped bottle was revealed otherwise with beige tint on the body clay.
It was caused by kiln firing.
The actual clay tint was grayish and was revealed under the faded glaze...

Splendidly shaped, the "mask" is only minimally carved to denote the eyes, nose and mouth...

A small square gold lacquer Japanese incense container with rounded corners. The lid is decorated with a relief of waves and rocks, inlaid in mother-of-pearl and lead. Interior and base with nashiji, the rims covered with lead. Later tomobako. Dimension: c. 9.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 2.5 cm. Condition: few traces of usage, a tiny chip (see photo No. 2 at 2 o'clock).

A lovely washer bowl with lotus petal motif on the exterior. PERIOD : Song Dynasty (12-13th Century). MEASUREMENT : 11.5 cm wide, 6 cm height. CONDITION : excellent, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restorations.

A large sterling silver goblet with half ribbed cup, Sheffield, 1898, by Cleft Alexander Mawer Clark of the Alexander Clark Manufacturing Company, Sheffield, England. Size: 10.245 inches ht. Weight: 19.7 Troy ounces (including iron bar). There is a slight push-in on the base of the pedestal which produces a slight wobble. No monogram.

This is a wonderful pair of 14Kt yellow gold Victorian Etruscan earrings. The top of each earring is set with a small diamond, the bottom has an emerald and a 4mm cultured pearl. The earrings have posts and the total length is 1 1/16”.

A Scottish agates sterling silver banded agate sword pin circa 1911. This handsome dirk pin features finely banded agate cased in a hand-engraved "sheath"; the hilt of the knife features a cabochon agate stone. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1911-12, and it has the maker's or retailers mark for Adie & Lovekin. Many of these pins were made in Scotland and hallmarked in Birmingham, although some were made there as well...

A Victorian green glass trinket box with enamel daisies circa 1880-1900. This lovely dresser jar has gilt brass mounts and fine hand applied daisies in orange and white with a white trim border and gold leaves. It is of European origin and unsigned; it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a touch of gold rubbing to the leaves and the loss of some of the gilding on the brass mounts...

A vintage c1930s ornate pair of sterling silver open salt dishes in the form of winged swans with cobalt glass salt dishes. The swans have fine detail and embossing along with openwork; the wings are riveted with silver plate on brass pins. These fine table decorations measure 3" long and 3" tall. The swans test as silver (they are unmarked) and the wings pivot a bit, and this fine set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A set of five Imari covered bowls. Condition for all is excellent. Part of a group just out of a diplomatic estate. Japanese porcelain sets traditionaly came in groups of five. Four was considered bad luck and larger sets were generally odd numbers. With slight variation, the bowls are between approximately 4 1/4" (10.8cm) to 4 3/8" (11.1cm) diameter and 2 5/16" (5.9cm) height. The covers are about 4" (10.2cm) diameter...

Made of gilt brass, 2 with gilt brass balls, the others with glass balls. One finial with chips to the glass, one finial lacks its attachment disk and one finial has been mounted on a brass foot. H. 5-6,5 cm. Ca. Late 19th century.
