The words class and high quality come to mind when looking at this vintage 1960-s platinum, diamond and ruby broach. The bouquet of flowers design incorporates 48 high quality, various size round brilliant cut diamonds, 24 various size diamond baguettes and two round faceted rubies. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 4.65 Ct and the rubies weigh approximately 0.60 Ct. The height of the broach is 1 ½” and the width is 1 3/8”.

Navajo Kenneth Begay has been called the "father of modern Navajo jewelry". From 1946-1964, he worked as a benchsmith at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, Az. This elegant, precise bracelet measures 5 1/2" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening. It is 1/4" wide and weighs 30 grams. All original, fine condition and signed as shown in the photos. Gorgeous alone or perfect for stacking.

By a crouching posture, the momentum was gathered fully by the frog which is ready for a flying bug.
The bronze piece was very well depicted not only the outlook but also in the details on the surface, the toad’s skin. The irregular lumps and bumps may not be delightful but were manufactured so well as to activate the bronze frog to a real one...

Chinese carved malachite study of a foo dog or temple guardian. A beautiful grained gem quality stone Measuring 2 x 1 3/8 inches in excellent condition a fine addition to any collection.

Measuring just under 8" high, and 12" including the wood stand, this Santo head is exceptionally well carved, with fine detail and life like features to the face. The eyes are cast upward, and the pupils are carved in a concave manner. Most of the face and beard retain the original gesso and paint, with more loss to the back of the head, and most of the paint in the eyes is gone. Fine quality and nice detail, it is probably Continental in origin.

This pouring vessel is in the form of an amber glazed rooster. It dates from the Ming period. Measure : H=16 cm, W = 9 cm, L= 20 cm. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a little crack on the tail of rooster and glaze degradation on some area.

The most stunning carved obsidian mask I have ever seen adorning a piece of Taxco jewelry, this is an exquisitely worked example with a deeply golden brownish sheen to it. I admit that I have a weak spot for Mexican jewelry from the "archaeological" period of the 1930s-40s, when newly discovered pre-Colombian treasures inspired Mexican silversmiths and designers to create jewelry based on the ancient motifs of their rich heritage...

Fine Chinese enameled porcelain covered containers, late Qing/Republic period, with a tapering ovoid body and a domed lid decorated with children playing in a garden, the lid and recessed base marked 'Tongzhi'. Massive Chinese Qing dynasty baluster form lidded general’s helmet jar decorated in underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with a Yuan inspired pond scene of ducks swimming among lotus. This is an old Yogi, a futon/blanket for the colder parts of Japan. It is a thick cotton dyed in the "Japanese blue", ai/indigo with a tsutsugaki (freehand painted rice paste resist) family crest on the back and stuffed with a cotton inside. The whitle little spots that you see are cutton balls from inside. The condition is excellent; some faint brown stains on the right side bottom and the lower left side bottom of the inside which is giving a charactor to this beautiful piece...

A rare and exceptional 14k gold and carved lapis scarab ring signed Macefield. William Mason and Leonard Field were a collaborative effort of artist/jewelers from Winchester, MA. ( the North Shore ) who were most active in the late 40's and 50's. This ring is a size 5 1/4 and measures 7/8" long and 3/4" wide. The prong set carved lapis scarab sits high in a scalloped setting with a twisted edge. The ring is in fine original condition. Magnificent craftsmanship and design.
