This large ceramic rooster (16 1/4")is the work of Edwin Meaders (1921-2015) of the famous Meader family of potters and artists from White County Georgia. John Meader founded the workshop in 1893, primarily making utilitarian jugs, crocks, and other functional items. Cheever and Arie Meaders continued the work, making both utilitarian objects and creating artworks in the shape of animals, birds, and face jugs...

A rare example Ming dynasty second half of 15th century possibly Chenghua period. Decorated with continuous lotus blossoms at the exterior and vividly drawing to interior cavetto with four fishes swimming among waves and prunus flowers or called in Chinese as 'Mei Hua, the center with jumping of single fish among clouds pattern. Unfortunately with slight large two missing part and being broken like indicated on the pictures. Diameter: 21.7cm and High: 9.5cm.

Pair of sterling silver ash or pin trays designed and marked (1930's) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The raised design of a serpent is applied. Each tray is 2 3/8" diameter with 1/2" lip. The pair weighs 80grams, 2.9oz. Pictured on spratlingsilver.com which describes the design as " pre-Columbian feathered serpent". Excellent vintage conditon.

Kokeshi, wooden folk toy of NE Japan. Height: 7.5". This is an example of "Yamagata-kei" tradition of Yamagata Prefecture. The artisan was Okazaki Shouichi, who was born in Showa 3 (1928) and passed away at the age of 67 on April 15th, 1995 (Heisei 7.) Cup with everted flat lip and a short raised foot. Decorated in underglaze cobalt - blue on the rim with a key - fret design and a continuous chrysanthemum scroll on the exterior. Porcelain body with a transparent glaze. Base recessed and unglazed. D : 8 cm. Jingdezhen or Fujian. Yuan Dynasty fourteenth century. Condition : Very good, no hairline, cracks, chips or restorations

A beauty of an engagement ring is centered by a 0.56Ct princess cut diamond that has H color and VS1 clarity set in a platinum ring with 18Kt yellow gold accent. The non certified center stone is flanked on either side by two tapered baguettes which brings the approximate total diamond weight to 0.90Ct. The ring is a size 6 ¾ and can easily be sized.

A magnificent sterling and turquoise necklace and matching ring by Fred Davis. It is all original and in beautiful condition. The ring is signed but not the necklace so I would always keep it as a set. The ring is a size 6, front measures 1 1/8" long by 3/4" wide. The necklace is spectacular, a collar really, measuring approx. 16 1/2- 17" long. Hard to be exact because it is curved. It is 1 1/2" wide and weighs 148 grams...

Rare and beautiful silver and copper discs earrings by Hector Aguilar. I am also offering the matching silver and copper discs bracelet which is featured on page 139 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. These earrings are screw backs and measure 1 3/4" long. The graduated discs are 1 1/8" at the widest bottom disc. All of the discs move. These earrings are in fine original condition, weigh 23 grams total and are signed as shown...

STICKER BOARD BY A JAPANESE BOY

A fragment of old massive industrial wooden board stenciled as 'Explosive' on the opposite side, randomly stuck many old school stickers of 'Ultraman' and 'Kamen Rider' (and their monster enemies) as the two biggest children's superhero in Japanese tokusatsu TV show in 1970s. Really scarce tangible memory and story hardly seen today. 65 x 37 x 1.5 cm (25.59 x 14.56 x 0.59in)...

Fine Tall Chinese Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Granary Jar

This tall cylindrical pottery jar in the form of a granary (grain store) was made during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It is made from a relatively highly-fired grey pottery (having a distinct ring to it when tapped) that has been "cold painted" in various coloured pigments, exceptionally good traces of which still remain. The painted decoration comprises elaborate scrolling cloud and geometric patterns...

A fabulous sterling ring featuring a large center sugarloaf moonstone set in a wide oval mount designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co. This ring is a size 6 and the stone sits a full inch above the finger. The setting is also 1" wide. Beautiful stone, free of chips or cracks.Signed as shown. This is a great find and sure to make a statement.

Elegant, rare and early Georg Jensen Denmark bracelet no. 53 with chrysoprase. This bracelet is featured on page 112 of the book GEORG JENSEN A TRADITION OF SPLENDID SILVER by Janet Drucker. It measures 7"end to end, and is 1/2" wide. It is in fine original condition with no chips or cracks to the stones which are a vibrant green. Signed with the marks that date 1915-30. This piece should delight any Jensen collector.

Look carefully as this may well be a very early as found example of a Victorian smaller neck Barrel Clasp Graduated Faceted from 8 to 17 mm Rich Red Cherry Amber choker bead necklace. It appears that at some early point the Original 14.5" choker was made longer to 16" when one of the earlier owners may have added eight 6mm faceted citrine color cut glass beads, still retaining its early super condition cherry amber barrel clasp.
