A shallow dish, heavily potted, covered in a beautiful celadon glaze producing the crackles of the Geyao type glaze. The base is glazed while the foot rim is dressed with an iron brown wash and six dot mark. Periode : Qianlong (1736-1795 AD) Diameter : 28 cm. A bamboo brush pot was carved in uniquely curved form.
Decorated on one side with craved motifs of peony flowers and poems on the other side, the brush pot was preserved with Zu-huang(bamboo's inner skin) on the smaller sides.
It was in perfect condition when darken patina was earned.
Date: Late Qing periods, late 19th century.
