The beads in this necklace are tiny, interestingly shaped and delicate. Yet the effect of the necklace is dramatic. It can be worn short or long depending upon where the clasp is placed on the extender. Miriam Haskell plaque is on the back and Miriam Haskell stamp is on the flower clasp. Shortest bead strand is 11 1/2", necklace is 27 1/2" end to end.
Measuring 7 1/4" wide, 4 1'2" high, and 5" deep, this bronze inkwell features the head of a lion or other big cat, and has applied glass eyes. The patina is dark, with lighter tones where it has been handled and rubbed. The piece is cast in three pieces, the head having a hinged lid, and is fastened to the back of the base with screws.
