This charming doll is wonderfully detailed. She is all cloth with embroidered face features, beaded necklace and matching headband and thread hair. She is wearing a long under slip. Her dress is has multiple layers of gathered bands of fabric, and is topped with a full length apron which ties in the back.

Held in a private collection for the past 20+ years, she is in excellent condition and stands over 15" high.

Storekeeper roly-poly tobacco tin, Red Indian Cut Plug Tobacco brand, by The American Tobacco Company. Early 20th century. Size: 7 inches height x 6 inches diameter. Very good condition, some minor paint loss and rust spotting (see photos). The lithograph decorated tin held one pound of tobacco and is in the form of a Store keeper wearing a blue jacket, black bow tie and smoking a pipe. Head lifts off as a cover. No dents.

Large Chinese Neolithic Machang Painted Pottery Jar (c. 2300 - 2000 BC)

This large pottery jar was made over 4,000 years ago during the Machang Phase (c. 2300 - 2000 BC) of the Majiayao culture, also known as the Gansu-Yangshao culture, from present day Gansu or Qinghai province. Hand forged sterling silver necklace designed & signed in the 1930's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The necklace measures 17 1/2" long. Each bird measures 2 1/4"L X 1 1/2"W. Description:

An archaic bronze seal was from Buddhist ritual.
It was cast on the printing side with four ancient Zhuan characters: Fo Fa Seng Bao (Buddha, Buddha dharma, Buddha Followers, Buddha's Holy Treasures).
There's a long slender knob on top of the seal. Three characters Wu Qiong Gang (Endless Strength) were inscribed on the upper side beside the knob.
The seal was kept in perfect condition and was in darken patina due to long time of age...

Description: An adorned wood female lion was carved in Ming dynasty. Stepping on a cup who lies upward, this lion grinned fiercely. She should had been paired with a male lion who stepping on a scroll ball and all were placed before a shrine as guarding beasts. It is an exact example of Ming lion and of an 400 years old wood piece for dating. Material: Camphor Wood. Being beautifully decorated on the surface with colorful splashes, the water pot was authenticated as an archaic piece from Changsha kiln of Tang dynasty.
By a very fine condition of the glaze, the porcelain item was justified as a sought-after piece when most of the items found were in poor condition by severe degradations...

Frilly as an Easter bonnet, this baroque pearl choker has ruby red stones and small red and white spacer beads. Add to that small gilt leaves in the Haskell style, and it becomes a charmer. Shortest strand of pearls is 14", Hinged clip earrings are 1 1/4" by 1".

A blue silk twill gauze men's jifu decorated in gold couched thread with eight four-clawed mang dragons pursuing flaming pearls amidst clouds and bats. Description: A white jade carving of a Longevity carrying a child on his back. By a popular Chinese metaphor of long life and abundance in posterity, the white jade piece was well carved from a creek-found pebble(Zi-liao).and was in transparent look. It was greasy feel on the surface and was in perfect condition. It was much more white in real than in the pictures. Date: Qing Dynasty,18th/19th century. Height: 4.3cm.
