Description:

A white-glazed incense burner was mold in stem foot.
Wheel-turned in flat circular rim and with trumpet foot, this porcelain ware was in form of the characteristic metal counterpart of the dated periods or earlier.
It was in perfect condition with only one minute dent on the rim. It was caused before glazing.
Obvious burial characteristics were preserved for verification.
An old auction tag was kept.

A wonderful example of funerary gifts, these pottery horses with glazed and cold painted decoration. The heads are detachable. Both horses are in excellent condition without traces of repair. Hight 30 cm. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Very nice carving of Shoushan stone depicting a corn, 4.5 inches in length and 2 inches wide in good condition.

One of the most beautiful early 20th c. Chinese bracelets of this kind that I have seen, this piece is studded with perfectly cut tiger's eye cabochons. The vivid blue, purple and green enamels reflect brightly off the vermeil finish while the extra security of the safety chain is a welcome plus. Measuring 7" long (wearable) by 1 1/2' wide, the bracelet weighs 49.8 grams. It is marked "SILVER CHINA" and in excellent vintage condition.

A very interesting yet no less monumental bracelet by Enrique Ledesma in which the maestro combines modernist silver work with curved stone tubes left unpolished- a rather unusual choice for him. I am intrigued by the combination and think that the stones are actually malachite with veins of pyrite in them. This beauty is comprised of 5 large turquoise stones that are approximately .75in. at the widest and 1.5in. long. The color is a vivid blue green. The prongs are holding by fingers that form more of a cage for the stones to roll around. The silver is thick and it weighs a hefty 64 grams. Chinese late Ming dynasty porcelain guan form jar with wide shoulders tapering to a flat, unglazed base decorated in underglaze blue with lotus flowers and scrolling foliage on a white ground. The glaze was covered all over the surface except to the foot ring.
The foot ring was shaped in domed edge and was revealed with the body clay in gray tint when stingy-feel burial adhesives(BaoJiang) was preserved on the tip of the foot ring for verification.
The glaze surface was reflected in retrospective sheen in old look.

Antonio Pineda crescent is one of his most wonderful pectorals and this one has no chips to the stones. The pectoral drop is 5.25in. across and 2.25in. tall in the center. The Los Castillo fern is an outstanding bracelet design with great dimension and a rolling flow to the leaf that others tried to copy but could not succeed. The piece is heavy at 98 grams. The height is 3in. on an angle and tapers to one inch in the back. The inside diameter is 2.25in. The clamper is properly hallmarked and in perfect condition. One picture shows the clamper with a large Los Castillo fern necklace already listed on my site. Truly a classic and collector quality.

Rancho Alegre has made a real beauty in this piece. It is heavy at 111 grams. The concave center is pulled out with perfection to the precise flat edges. Totally hand wrought and an absolute jewel for even the most serious collectors. The gap is 1.25in. and the diameter is 2.25in. The face front is a large 1 5/16th's.

You could not believe how fabulous this piece looks with a scoop neck black dress. You can adjust the 20 inches of chain to what ever length you wish and the chain is also huge and hand made giving it a distinct presence. The sections of the pectoral have a hammered raw look to the sterling. The weight is 161 grams.
