This round box was made during the 13th - 15th century at the Sawankhalok kilns. Both cover and box have been decorated with an incised scrolling floral pattern, the design accentuated with the use of two different coloured glazes. The inner surface and base remain unglazed. A fine b/w bowl with well balance potted, decorated at the exterior with three Phoenix on flight among continuously chrysanthemum scrolls, interior center with a 'Vajra' design within double circle. Ming dynasty 15th century Interregnum period ware. Condition is very good, with no any chips, no cracks and free from restoration, just found minor crackle glaze to the body and base. Colorful! A fun set by Miriam Haskell. Designed in the 1970's to celebrate the Egyptian show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Gilt metal and glass beads. The necklace is signed on the scarab pendant, the clasp and on a metal tag. The clasp also has the patent number. The screwback/clip earrings have two Haskell signatures and the patent number. The necklace is 20" end to end. The scarab pendant is 2 1/2" long and 2" wide. The pharaoh earrings are 7/8" by 5/8".
