Of solid cast bronze, and weighing 10 pounds, this simply detailed Buddha measures 12 3/4" from feet to top of ushnisha, and 13 1/2" including wood base. This Buddha is classicaly Sri Lankan, from the elegant and thin form to the flame or Sirispata Ushnisha on the head. Nicely detailed, with a deep brown patina, the figure is in excellent condition, with a minor loss to the central flame tip, visible in photos. Very striking in size and style, it appears to date to the early 20th century.

A bold and smashing looking sterling necklace and matching clip earrings designed by Nanna and Jorgen Ditzel for the Danish firm Anton Michelsen. The links are a unique shape and look fabulous on the neck. So nice to have the earrings too. The necklace measures 15" end to end and the links are 7/8" wide.
