A rare late Ming Jiajing Wanli blue and white bowl, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl decorated with under glaze blue of flower motif at exterior, base with four Chinese character mark.
Bowl is in good condition, no chip, no crack, no restoration.

Exquisite repairs in overlapping gold wave designs on colored lacquer drape upon the rim of this 17th century chawan tea bowl. The white clay is covered with millet colored glaze upon which have been scrawled simple designs like the character for person (hito). The bowl is 10.5 x 10 x 6 cm (4-1/4 x 4 x 2-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition, in a modern kiri-wood collectors’ box.

A set of early wood panels, once doors on a votive shrine, painted with guardian shishi lions (Also called Fu-dogs) in polychrome colors, much worn with time. The doors are of clear grained hinoki (Japanese cypress) and have shrunk horizontally over the centuries, evidenced by the ari (wooden support) which is inset into them. On back one can see clearly the silhouette of the original metal-work...

Bottle vase is in good condition with upper part have silver mounted, no chip, no crack, no restoration on lower part, there is an original manufacture crack line on the base.

The character Take (bamboo) is struck with six brisk strokes of dark ink on this Chagake tea scroll signed Mitsuhiro (Karasuma Mitsuhiro, 1578-1638) and dated 1631. The calligraphy is exquisite. Mitsuhiro was born the son of Karasuma Mitsunobu (1543-1606) and, like his auspicious father, was a well known poet and songwriter accomplished in calligraphy...

Semi porcelain charger, with a central inside decoration of a Qilin (Ch'illin) among cloud scrolls, in the cavetto six freely drawn chrysantemum. The outside decorated with a lotus scroll and a classic scroll. PERIOD : Zheng De (Cheng Te) (1506-1521 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 25 cm wide. CONDITION: no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restorations.

A blue & white large dish, decorated to the center with a deer in landscape, found only on this Swatow family, the sides decorated with floral spray, prunus branch and encircling with key fret border. Exterior with floral pattern, adhere to the foot rim with sand grit as known as typically of Zhangzhou ware products, Ming dynasty late 16th to early 17th century. Condition is a hairlines, a small chip on the rim, firing fault ( as seen on pictures) and free from restoration. Diameter: 27.5cm.

Covered box decorated with Chilong on the cover, glazed base. PERIOD : Wanli (1563 – 1620 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 15 cm length, 5 cm wide. CONDITION: two chips on the onner rim, it doesn't look when displayed, no other damages.

A hu shaped Chinese bronze vase with decoration in the archaistic style and dragon handles. Condition: old mend near one handle. Dimension: 26.8 cm high, weight: 1305 g.
