A Chinese 'famille rose' porcelain cup, painted with a pavilion entrance beside a river. On the reverse a poem in black with a red seal mark. The top rim is edged in gilt.

Condition: Very good condition, no breaks or cracks. Some rubbing of the enamels and wear to the gilt.

A pair of famille-rose enameled Peking glass tea bowls, painted with birds. One cup has 3 birds on a flowering plum rose branch. The second cup has 3 cranes by a rivers edge. Painted all around. The bases with four character Qianlong marks in over-glaze blue.

Thinly potted Chinese famille-rose enamelled 'dragon' cup with a dragon and a bird chasing the flaming pearl. Gilt edged rim. The base with a six character iron-red Daoguang seal mark.

Age: Late Qing Dynasty to Republic

Made of red silk, embroidered in the 'forbidden stitch' with peonies and other flowers in red, yellow and white, lined with gold thread. The tassels bound with gold and silver thread. Dimensions: the pouch 7x6 cm, the tassels 16 cm.

This beauty is the work of New York jeweler and silversmith George Shiebler and Co. It was made around 1880, and is part of what is known as the firm's "Etruscan" or "Homeric" line, inspired by the archeological discoveries that captured the public's imagination at the time...

Two bands of embossed silver enclose this very interesting bracelet of what looks to be black coral. The silver bands feature deeply impressed and oxidized floral designs on the outer surface and are attached to the bangles by tiny pins. They are very secure and the bangle itself exhibits very few signs of wear. The bracelet is likely from the 1920s and has a roomy internal circumference of 8 1/2 inches.

A band of deeply embossed and oxidized silver encircles nearly half of this bangle, made of what looks to be lacquered bamboo. The design on the band is a combination of various symbols, one of which looks like an iris. The design is framed by a Greek key-like border; the band is secured to the wood bracelet by tiny pins. The bamboo surface shows few signs of wear; there is a tiny area of loss near the edge of the silver band (see Photo #3), but it very stable...

Marked "9CT" and WHH for William H Haseler, and most likely made to be sold by Liberty & Co, this lovely pin features a leaf motif in red and green enamel, on an "entrelac" or interlaced frame of gold, with 3 colorless paste stones. Once owned by Andy Warhol this vintage 1950's sterling silver & chrysacolla bracelet was designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Felipe Martinez for Piedra Y Plata. The six panels of the design measure 1 inch wide X 6 1/2 wearable inches long. It weighs 89 grams and is in beautiful condition with minor surface wear. Fully hallmarked. Fabulous and very hard to find sterling and emerald bracelet by Salvador Teran. A great Modernist design with links that all move and give a fluid, comfortable feel on the wrist. The bracelet measures 6 1/2" end to end so for a small wrist. It is 7/8" wide and weighs 57 grams.
