This 18Kt yellow gold pelican broach is as cute as it is whimsical. The bird has a natural sapphire eye and holds a fish in his beak. The height of the pin is 1 1/8” and the width is ¾”.
A rare octagonal porcelain dish decorated in underglaze blue with a flowering bush by a rock, along the border stylized Chinese characters. The rim glazed brown, the base with three spur marks and a "fuku" mark within a double square. Dating to the early Edo period. Condition: well with little scratches, rim with 3 tiny frits and two chips, and one chip under the glaze (photo 8). Dimension: diameter: 20 cm, 3.2 cm high.
With a green and yellow glaze, decorated in relief with a fish between water plants. One side of the flask is left uncleaned to show how the flask was found. The soil can be easily removed. Condition: very good with expected age wear and age cracks in the glaze. 20 cm.
