Classic 1960s Sigi Pineda Mexican silver modernist brooch in a design that looks to me like an angelfish albeit rendered in the most minimalist fashion. I consider Sigi's "niello" line one of the most inspired periods in his admittedly long and prolific career. I find that the metallic black/grey oxidation applied to some of the silver surfaces adds unsurpassed depth and sculpturality, something that in more traditionally crafted pieces is achieved by repoussage and hand-chasing...

Wonderful Dorothy Bauer brooch! This little turtle has personality!. Beautiful prong set blue and green rhinestones making a charming design on the turtle's back. The brooch is very three dimenional being 1 1/8" thick from top of shell down. He is 2 3/4" nose to tail and 1 1/2" flipper to flipper.

The bag measures 10 1/2 inches long and is 11 inches tall to the top of the handle. This truly futuristic looking Victorian globular 3-1/2" tall smoking accessory stands on ball feet and it has two wick clamps for lighting the cigars. Formed as a pair of stylized swans on water, this sterling pin has both an abstract and arts and crafts feel. There is little information on the jeweler Nino Bisso (1906-1988), but his work exhibits extraordinary skill and creativity. Internet sources peg his company’s production from the 1920s through the 1940s. The back of this pin bears two applied plaques with Bisso’s marks. The pin measures 2 ¼ inches long by 1 ¼ inches high. Weight: 17.4 grams

This attractive porcelain bowl was made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. This porcelain bowl was made in the 12th - 13th Century during the latter part of the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). Chinese Song Dynasty Qingbai Porcelain Bowl (damaged)

This fine-quality porcelain bowl was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). It is of an attractive cone shape standing on a relatively high foot; the body is thin and particularly translucent. The inner surface has been decorated with incised floral patterns. It is coated in a blue qingbai glaze of good colour.

Diameter 13.5cm. Despite being chipped at the rim and with hairline cracks, it does have a ring when tapped.

Hallmarked Victoria for Anna Marie Nunez are these very early pre-1948 design #2 earrings. The triangle swings with motion making them quite attention getters at 1.5inches long and .75in. wide. They are thick silver weighing 15 grams in beautiful condition. The sterling hand made balls are solid and show evidence of that with a few microscopic air bubbles as a result from the making.
