Large and impressive this 4 inch long sterling silver and bronze butterfly/moth pin or brooch was designed and signed (c.1940's) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). The pin measures 4 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide and weighs 49 grams, 1.7 oz. Designed and made in 4 sizes this is the largest. Beautiful original condition with no dents, dings or repairs.
