This antique Chinese necklace has an ornately detailed large Kylin as the central medallion. The medallion is 3.5 inches across and there are are five decorative chains hanging from it. Each of these chains ends with a fruit. The low grade silver used for the necklace is typical of the Chinese silver used in old China. The Kylin is a Chinese mythical animal.

Voluptuous floral and bead and bar design sterling bracelet by Valentin Vidaurreta who established his first workshop in Mexico City in 1936, then moved to Taxco in 1941 where he designed principally for Hector Aguilar until 1952 and also had a small workshop of his own. He may have also designed for William Spratling and Fred Davis. This bracelet measures 6 1/2" around in the inside and is 1 1/4" at the widest points and narrows to 3/4" at the back clasp...

This is a lovely sterling and center amethyst straight line bracelet by Felipe Martinez who called his workshop Piedra Y Plata. His workshop was recognized by his peers as one of the best silver shops in Taxco. He had a great appreciation for stones and made beautiful designs combining color, movement and line. This bracelet measures 7" around in the inside and is 3/8" wide. Excellent original condition and signed as shown. This bracelet is a testament to his artistry.

This Chinese winter court officials hat has an elaborate gold acorn finial, silk velvet brim, and red silk tassels. The black chin strap cord is tied with a double adjusting slip knot. The hat is in good condition.

A large heirloom object b/w jar founded in South Sulawesi, decorated with a typically early Ching Kangxi period Circa (1662-1722) of continuously large Lotus blossoms around the body, base unglazed. Condition is perfect except minor glaze fritting to rim sides, no chips and no any cracks and free from restoration. Mouth diameter: 20.7cm/ High: 48cm/ Body maximum wide: 37.5cm.

A very good example of typical design of Ming Chenghua blue & white small dish, decorated at the interior with a Conch in the center within double circle and surrounded by lotus flowers and water weed above diaper pattern border. The exterior with four Mandarin Ducks swimming among lotus pond. Ming dynasty Chenghua period. Condition: restored to a large missing chip to the rim and two hairlines, the condition before restore would be available to send by request. Diameter: 17.3 cm.

A beautiful sterling and cabachon amethyst necklace by Carmen Beckmann. One of the few women Mexican silversmiths, her work is hard to find and always interesting and beautiful.Beckmann had a shop in San Miguel deAllende and was active in the 1960's and 1970's. This necklace measures 15" end to end and is 5/8" wide. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. GORGEOUS!

The Manchu woman did not practice foot binding or wear Lotus Shoes. However, the women did wear various styles of thick soled and platform soled shoes. The sole on this pair of Manchu shoes is 1.5 inches thick. The vamp is canvas with wonderful large eyed fish embroidered with silk thread towards the back of the shoes. The front fish are made of velvet fabric with chain stitched embroidered details...

This baluster form vase is quite large by Japanese standards at 14 inches (35 cm) tall and in perfect condition. Chrysanthemums decorate the sides in rich, dark blue. There is a slight yellow tinge to the white glaze. It is signed on the base Makuzu Kozan Sei. The name Kozan was granted by Prince Yasui-no-Miya in 1851 in honor of the tea ware produced during the later Edo for the imperial Court by the tenth generation head of the Kyoto pottery family Miyagawa Chozo...

MASSIVE and ENORMOUS Antonio Pineda 970 silver cuff with shadow box figures and matching screwback earrings. We are talking BIG! The cuff is 2 3/4" wide, 5 1/4" around in the inside with a 1 1/4" opening and weighs 202 grams. The matching earrings are 2 1/4" long and 5/8" wide. I have never seen this bracelet or earrings in such large scale before. It is in fine original condition and both pieces are fully hallmarked as shown...

A very unusual pale yellow-green (kiji) porcelain vase in the shape of a Chinese Gu by Seiji Celadon master Suwa Sozan enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Fretwork and a roiling dragon body have been softly engraved into the sides; the slightest variation in tone the only hint to the subtle design-work. The vase is 11-1/2 inches (29 cm) tall, 6 inches (15 cm) diameter and in fine condition...

Emile Albert Gruppe (American, 1896-1978), oil on canvas board, signed lower right. Titled and dated in Gruppe's hand on the verso,"Mount Mansfield, Vermont, 1947." A vibrant spring scene with traces of lingering winter snow. Excellent condition. Size: 12 inches x 16 inches.

Fabulously chic and very big vintage French black tested Bakelite drop earrings. Circa 1950 or 1960. The open wire clip earring backs and filigree findings are French. With aged goldtone metal. Tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome. True opaque black Bakelite; did not start out as another color. From a Philadelphia estate which had other French costume jewelry.

A fabulous vintage classic six, that is, a six dot Bakelite bangle. Circa 1935. Guaranteed vintage and original, from a Philadelphia estate. In heavily marbled tortoise with six inset dots in pale yellow creamed corn. The bangle and the dots test positive for Bakelite using Simichrome.

1/2 inch wide by 3/8 inch thick and with standard 2 1/2 inches inside diameter. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.

A fabulous vintage handmade studio modernist bib necklace with black and white glass beads strung on brass wire, and engraved brass leaf or feather form drops at the end of each beaded wire. The overall effect is of a feathered collar. 1970s. Bold and unique and with outstanding impact. Photos do not do justice to this piece. It drapes very nicely and is very easy to wear.

Fabulous signed Christian Lacroix clipback earrings in matte goldtone with clear and orange marbled Lucite elements, and large matte goldtone elements, both in the form of coral spezzati or branches. Marked CL in script, CHRISTIAN LACROIX, and MADE IN FRANCE. I believe these are 1980s. Photos do not capture the color; it is very clear and warmer than the photos show. Perfect for resort and beach wear.
