Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, here is an English brooch featuring a large peridot (1 cm x 6 mm or 3/8” x 2/8”), and, on either side, seed pearl-set gold shamrocks. Flanking those are 3 demantoids garnets per side, plus 1 above and 1 below the peridot. Peridots symbolize spring and youthfulness, and it is said to bring health and wealth. This antique 14Kt gold and blood-stone fob / pendant date back to early 20th century. The 20 millimeter round, high quality blood-stone is mounted in a frame that is decorated by two intertwining snakes. The diameter of the whole fob / pendant is 1”

This beautiful Art Nouveau dragon doesn't hoard treasure--he is a treasure! The pin is 18 k gold (tested). The wings are edged in 7 rose-cut diamonds each and his tail is tipped with more rose-cut diamonds. He holds an Old English cut diamond in his beak. The pin is 1 3/8” X 1 ¼”. It has an early-style safety catch. The hinge is a replacement. There are no marks. Circa 1900.

Pair of perfume bottles of clear crystal glass with heavy sterling overlay in an Art Nouveau scrolled foliate design, with hand-worked detailing. Both the neck and rim of the bottles are encased in silver. Each sterling overlay stopper is matched to it's bottle, with each stopper marked with identical number as it appears on the base of the bottle. Bottles are monogrammed “ML”. Condition of bottles is excellent with no chips, cracks, or repairs...

Here is a lovely orchid brooch, made from richly-colored, unmarked but tested, 10kt yellow gold. It has excellent detailing, an old European cut diamond (approximately 1/3 of a carat), and a fan pearl. Weighing in at 2.6g, it measures 1” by about 7/8”, is very dimensional, and very Art Nouveau. It is unmarked, but we believe it was made in Newark, NJ based on its construction...

This necklace is a graceful garland of bezel-set, oval and round moonstone cabochons in silver. Loops of chain surround moonstone drops, giving the fluid drape of the necklace. The chains connecting the stones are low-grade silver. This is a turn-of-the-century piece and is 15" long

Fine Japanese Meiji period bronze hand warmer with applied dragon design side panels and bird motif handle with pierced lid with phoenix bird design. An Art Nouveau sterling daisy flower purse handle chain from the 1900 era. This 16-3/8" chain consists of oval daisy flower cast sterling silver links which are 3/8" wide. Originally on a late Victorian purse, this chain has two large loop for mounting but it could easily have a clasp added for use as a necklace (or a doubled bracelet). It is stamped STERLING on the mounting rings, it weighs 33.0 grams and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This is a finely carved ivory horse head, one side having three heads with glass eyes, mane and teeth, the other side, a single horse head on a wood base, excellent condition with age appropriate wear, some surface cracks. Ivory measurements 4 1/2 in. L x 1 3/4 in H x 1 3/8 in W. Including base 5 1/4 in L x 2 3/4 in H x 2 in W approximately.

A vintage 7-1/2" high x 6-1/2" x 4" rectangular Ocean Blend Indian & Ceylon Tea tin with an unusual deep teal blue background. It has centre graphics of a steamship. This Canadian (Toronto and Peterboro (sic) tin was manufactured by Macdonald Mfg. Co. Limited Toronto; we haven't seen one with the blue colour before...

This wonderful pharmacy prescription scale dating to the early 1900s is in very nice condition! The scale box is finely constructed of oak and the balance beam scale comes with 5 small brass weights. The weighing mechanism works like new, in fact, there is not much wear apparent indicating minimal use and loving care over the years.

The oak case measures 11.75"L x 5.5"W and has a rich warm patina with very minor staining to the top. Displays wonderfully!

This item has been Sold. c 1900 Hammered Arts Crafts Pin Brooch Stamped "Frost" in upside down pyramid for George Frost Arts & Crafts Studio of Dayton, Ohio. 2" X 7/16" with lots of patina commonly found in these pieces and perhaps hints of gold finish on brass. Very nice unpolished condition with just a slight wave to pin stem.
