The face is at once relaxed and respectful, one hand wrapped around a gnarled walking stick supporting the heavy bag on his back. All facets are rounded, with a soft, tight orange-peel surface typical of Tokyo school bronzes. The image is roughly 5 inches (12.5 cm) in all directions, and in excellent condition...

Rare 1940's hand forged brass hair ornament designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Hubert Harmon. Harmon incorporates his signature hallmark of angel wings combined with turned up soles in this design. The thick brass wire base is formed into a Rubinesque female torso. Art Deco Egyptian Revival Brass Bookchain festoon necklace with 5 oval pierced pressed red glass oval drops found at the same estate of a collector who collected very theatrical jewelry. It along with the turquoise color one were acquired some 15 years ago. This type of book chain festoon necklace ending in a decorative fold over clasp were often seen worn by Victorian women as well. Again, one can almost see this in some silent movie of decades past.....

A black-glazed Jianyang tea bowl was in lovely size.
Uniquely and rarely-seen, it was decorated inside the bowl with splashed white mottles.
Obvious incursions had happened to the glaze resulting in the earthen and foggy look.
That includes the bursting holes of the glaze bubbles.
Wiry crackles can be observed too.
The darken body clay revealed was in enduring old look and was covering with grayish oxidation...

This vintage 1950's turquoise & sterling silver necklace was designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009)...

When carefully examined, the shaped body of this antique ceremonial Tibetan snuff container appears to be animal horn. Decorated with silver and bronze fittings, coral, turquoise and agate beads, this snuff bottle or more accurately, snuff container would have been worn suspended from a chain as a costume ornament by a shaman. It was purchased in Kunming from a Tibetan woman who was there selling her family treasures.

The container alone is 6 inches long with an additional 3 inch leather ...

Proud and Daring Little Rooster, this Mod Stylized Silver Pin marked in back with perhaps an unfinished superimposed "P C" for Pedro Castillo or "C F" and Assay mark.
