Today we feature Antonio Pineda's work with an older hallmark of Silver by Tono. Every link is a floral sculpture. The links are thick and 3 dimensional as they vine around the neck. The weight is 120 grams of almost pure silver. The wearable length is 16.5 in. This is my favorite period of his work as his designs are warmer and flow with great beauty. There is no damage to the silver or stones, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Something this breath taking does not need much of a description. Designed by Margot Van Voorhies when married to Antonio Castillo. Together they began the Taller of Los Castillo. Design 475 has a wearable length of 17 inches plus a bit more which is fashioned from a leaf pattern. Repousse of quality, depth and natural patina while having a heavy weight of 96 grams of almost pure silver. No repairs or damage of any kind, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

A breathtaking cup made from an egg cut and lacquered inside, then gilded with genuine gold, enclosed in the original signed age darkened kiri-wood box. It is 2-1/4 inches (5.5 cm) diameter and in perfect condition, dating from the Meiji period.

We do not find this old hallmark of Martinez very often but when we do it is special. This is a rare one with amethyst stones and carved silver dangles with repousse beads. The over all length is 19in. with the chain and just the links are 16in. The height is 1 3/8ths inches making it a bold treasure. Martinez is known for his stone work and all of these amethyst match very well with some looking lighter depending on the direction of the camera flashes. No chips or damage to the silver or stone...

This pair of hand forged sterling silver butterfly or moth earrings were designed & signed in the 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico designer William Spratling (1900-67). Each screw back earring measures 1" X 1". Beautiful condition & patina. Both signed on the reverse. Along with this earring design, Spratling created a brooch in 4 different sizes. Measuring 16 1/4" high, this porcelain bottle vase is late Qing, 19th century, and is decorated in heavy enamel glaze, with some iridescence visible. There are four panels, each with landscapes, floral and foliate elements, all in varying shades of green, with yellow, magenta, and pale blue flowers...

A lovely hollowed out root forming a basket; an anonymous 20th century work of Mingei art. It is roughly 18 x 13 x 10 inches (45 x 33 x 25 cm) and in fine condition.

A large and elegant Wa-gumi basket by Yufu Shohaku signed on the base made up of alternating strips of finely braided bamboo rope and bands of raw bamboo. This is a dramatic work measuring 22 x 20 x 14 inches (56 x 50 x 35 cm).
Yufu Shohaku (b. 1941) is a second-generation bamboo artist from Beppu, the son of Yufu Chikuryu, putting him in the lineage of Sato Chikuyusai. Shohaku began making bamboo baskets in elementary school and achieved mastery by middle school...

A beautifully designed vintage 1920-s 18Kt white gold filigree ring set with an approximately 0.15Ct very nice quality brilliant cut diamond. The outstanding filigree work incorporates flower and ribbon designs into a stylish original period piece of jewelry. The ring is a size 8 ¼ and it can easily be sized.

This stylish masterfully crafted 18Kt white gold and amethyst filigree ring from the 1920-s is centered by a 10 X 8 millimeter emerald cut light amethyst. The ring is a size 4 ¾ and it can easily be sized.

This Dominguez displays turquoise stones that have all warmed with time which collectors long for. While having a wearable length of 17inches it is also quite wide at 1 1/15th inches. The style of Mexico City folkloric is clearly recognizable from Matilde Poulats work in the same era. A Fantastic look with a basic white button down shirt. Dress it up or down and the rich feel comes through any way you wear it. No damage and a hefty weight of 135 grams, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Los Castillo design 183 is 1in. tall and is constructed using the repousse technique. The silver is very thick which weighs 50 grams and has a width is 1in. I have left the natural patina on this bracelet and will leave it to the buyer to highlight as desired. You can see the fish are swimming through waves and bubbles without a dent or damage. You can see on the waves there is a ripple to accent the movement of the wave. These are not dents and are on each wave of each link...

Two fox representing Inari, one of the principal kami (gods) of Shinto, are depicted on this Edo period talisman made at a shrine and traditionally hung in the home for protection. The two creatures hold in their mouths a buddhist jewel, symbol of knowledge, and a key to the kura, a storehouse for treasures. Between them is written Inari Daimyou Jin. Inari is the Japanese god of fertility, agriculture and of general prosperity and worldly success...

Over the top long sterling hoop earrings with a stylized squash blossom by award winning contemporary Navajo silversmith Edison Cummings. These are posts for pierced ears and measure 4" long. The squash blossoms are suspended from the hoops and move freely. These are not signed but were purchased by the original owner at Garlands in Sedona, Arizona where they were acquired directly from the artist. They weigh 17 grams total. These are incredibly BOLD and elegant at the same time.

Measuring 4 inches long & 3 1/2" wide, this impressive hand wrought moth brooch was designed & signed in the 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). This design was made in 4 sizes with this being the largest. The detailed repousse' work is exquisite & the condition excellent. It has a comfortable & wearable weight of 39 grams. Fully hallmarked. The pin back & safety are in fine working order...
