Among Gerardo Lopez's most collected clamper designs, I love to refer to this specific creation as his "flames" bracelet because of the way the repousse rises in vivacious twists and twirls. This is indeed an impressive piece - like most of Lopez's clampers are - but not overwhelmingly involved and a sheer pleasure to wear. Its patina is warm and its hinge is tight as if it has been treated very gently throughout its long life...

Victorian diminutive size secretary bookcase in walnut and burl walnut. Circa 1860-70s. Size: 83.5 inches ht. x 37 inches width x 20 inches depth. This sophisticated design is the work of the Polish workshop of ORNO, in Warsaw, made ca. 1965. The curved, open, ovular pendant has a slight twist to it, exposing the highly oxidized interior to all sides, so there is no back or front. This Antonio Pineda signed cross necklace is properly hallmarked as shown and weighs a hefty 81 grams. The onyx gemstone cross is a large 2.5in. tall and the links that make up the chain are .25in. wide. Five stones make up the cross and there are no chips or cracks on this piece.
