Obviously inspired by a similar Antonio design, this mod Margarita bracelet is spectacularly massive. Its substantial concave links are alternated by ones that hold chunky amethyst cabochons set in bezels. The stones are gorgeous with interesting inclusions and the beading that separates the pairs adds that little extra pizzaz to the design. Wrought out of 980 silver the bracelet has an inner circumference of 6 5/8" (clasped) so it's perfect for smaller to medium wrists...

In the 1940s, the Los Ballesteros taller made several variations of "dimpled dot" bracelets, most of them hinged, and adorned with impressive gems held in raised crown settings. The piece here is possibly the most massive, absolutely breath-taking of the series. I could not exaggerate the powerful presence, the warm patina and the gorgeous, big simulated alexandrite stone that centers it. Properly signed Antonio Pineda as shown with a weight of 35 grams of solid silver. The form is of a bamboo design and the diameter for the hand to go through is 2.5in. which is an average size that fits most. The width is 5mm. There appears to be a line on the top of the bangle but it is reflection from the lighting. It is a fine hand made bangle and a great addition to your collection.

A massive tiger defensively nudges the female deity on this amazing 19th century silk Fukusa. Hand-painted and composed from patchwork patterns of lavish antique brocades and featuring glass eyes and metal teeth and claws sewn into the fabric of the creature. The piece is backed with red rinzu silk patterned with cranes and plum blossoms. It is 23-1/2 x 25-1/2 inches (59 x 64 cm) and is in fine condition. It comes wrapped around a pillow in a large kiri-wood box.
