Rare pair of copper wall sconces designed and signed (c.1940's)by noted Taxco, Mexico silver and metal artist Hector Aguilar (1905-1986). These earrings were made by an unknown Maestro in the Fred Davis style. They are just gorgeous on and are long at 1.75inches. The width is half an inch. They weigh 9.1 grams. These date to pre-1948 and are in wonderful condition with no dents or dings. They are not hallmarked but are quite worthy of your jewel box. They have a bend in them to tip them for the best visual when wearing.

"Deserted Station" watercolor painting by Frederick Clay Bartlett, Jr. (American, 1907-1955). Signed lower right and dated Sept. 1942. Clay Bartlett was a Vermont artist with a residence in Manchester, VT. He was a member of the Southern Vermont Artists from 1934-1951. This adorable stuffed donkey has the softest mohair fur & a very goofy face. With articulating arms & legs, vinyl pads on the bottoms of his feet & a red vinyl mouth, he is quite an original. There are a few small areas where fur has been loved off along the seams and one ear is loose, but he is very clean & in overall good shape. Featured in Spratling's 1942 Christmas catalogue this silver I.D. bracelet was hand crafted at the Spratling Taller in Taxco, Mexico. The design features a slide-in tongue closure. Weighing 57 grams it is 1/2" wide and will fit up to a 7 1/2" wrist. The bracelet was never monogramed. The condition and patina are excellent. Fully hallmarked on the reverse.
