A fine antique Gilt bronze Buddha Thailand 19th century. Fine casting of the Buddha seated in Mara Vijaya (calling the earth to witness) Gilt bronze over lacquer most all original gilding remains in good condition. Top of the head is a stupa-shaped "flame" or called usnisa, symbol of the realization of Nirvana or indicative of supreme knowledge. Measuring approx. 15 inches tall A fine example.

A decent wood stand was well structured by precious Zitan and burl wood.
Framed by a unique species of Da-Yei Zitan, and panelled with burl wood board in the center, the wood stand was reinforced in the underside with lacquered cotton cloth.
Strong and sound, the wood stand was yielded on the surface with darken patina.
Date: late 19th century.

Far Fan made quality chain mail jewelry and this bracelet is a superb example of just that. These stones are all original to the bracelet, all have warmed the same tone of teal and all have no chips or cracks. The length is 7in. long and the width is a wide 2 inches. This bracelet has a large presence and the thickness of the chain is also important weighing in at 107 grams heavy. A great example for any collector in love with early Spratling era silver.

A very delicate and feminine yet dramatic sterling and white enamel necklace by Norwegian designer David Andersen. Long white enamel needle shaped links alternate with round shaped white enamel links. The chain linking them together is sterling with a gold wash. Measuring 17 1/2" end to end and 1 1/2" wide at the "needles", this necklace is in beautiful original condition. There is no damage of any kind to the enamel. The loop on the left side is missing; this must have happened a long time ago as the remains are hardly visible. There is an old collection label on the back.

Elegant pair of sterling silver and rosewood individual ashtrays designed and signed (c.1940's) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-1967). The nautical design is captured in handhammered heavy gauge silver with each piece resting on a rosewood base. 2 1/4" high, base 1 3/4". Both wood and silver in beautiful condition.
