A rare English George III pear form fruitwood tea caddy. 18th century. Size: 8.75 inches height. x 4.5 inches diameter. Retaining wooden stem, original brass hinge, scalloped metal key escutcheon (lock not working) and remnants of foil lining. Condition is very good, with two drying age cracks in the lid which have been filled at some point in the past. Lovely patina. Original Georgian fruit-form tea caddies are scarce to find.

A rare set of five tiny Gosu cups for drinking Gyokuro steaped tea from the Shidehara kiln of Sanda in Hyogo prefecture dating from mid to later 19th century (Late Edo to Meiji). Fish circle the cups as they swim among water plants. Each cup is 2 inches (5 cm) diameter and in great condition.

A refined set of 5 later Edo Sake cups in a hybrid E-gorai style from the Kosobe kiln of Igarashi Shinbei decorated with pale blue designs (gnarled plum trees?) under thick cream colored glaze on very thinly potted clay blended with shiseki for great effect. Remnants of yellow glaze covers this Heishi (Heiji) bottle form from the Owari-Seto area engraved clearly about the neck with three lines. A quintessential Kamakura pot. There is much degradation to the glaze typical of Seto which has withstood a millennium of earthquake, fire, war and abuse. That anything survives so long in Japan is miraculous. It is 9-1/2 inches (24 cm) tall, 6-1/2 inches (16.5 cm) diameter and comes wrapped in old cloth in an old wooden box.

This is a thick and heavy bracelet measuring 7 1/2" end to end, 1 1/2" wide and weighing 94 grams. Because of the thickness of the silver, the wearable length of the bracelet closed is approximately 7". It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. This is my favorite bracelet made by Erika Hult in the Mexican Silver Renaissance. Properly hallmarked as shown and is 6 7/8th inches long. Curves brilliantly around the wrist and has a weight of 100 grams of quality. The design has a big presence with 1.25in. of height. She studied at the Parsons School of Design in Paris as did Hubert Harmon. She signed her work with the name of RIC.
Mexico City artist Frederick Davis (1880-1961)designed this distinctive silver brooch in the 1920's. In beautiful vintage condition the pin is 2 1/4" X 2 1/4". Highly collectable, Fred Davis designs are included in permanent museum collections at MFA Boston, LACMA and others. Antonio Pineda's wave is one of his most stunning designs. The links form a deep swirl to a button top that flows from link to link. The weight is a monstrous 218 grams of silver. The thickness at the highest point is 10mm. The length is approximately 17in. of wearable length. Properly hallmarked as shown. Finding a condition of no issues of any kind is also a delight. A must have for collectors and never goes out of style.

Today I am listing the Antonio Pineda chain and toggle bracelet. The length is 8.75in. and a depth of 7/8th in. The depth takes up some of the wearable length and it is a comfortable 7in. Properly hallmarked and very difficult to get all the marks in the pictures. The crown is visible and please request more photos if needed. I believe the stones at the ends of the toggle are Chrysoprase. The bracelet is solid and has a weight of 121 grams of heft.
