Elegant tall temmoku vase with stamped lugs at the neck. This glaze is very visually intriguing as it appears different when viewed in different light sources. The surface is covered in a frogskin texture that looks like small oilspotting.

Elegant Shino lugged vase by veteran potter, Ando Hidetake (b. 1938). Thrown and then paddled ovoid, this simple tea ceremony vase was made of Mino mogusa clay and once stiff, the foot was hand carved to produce a fitting oval foot to compliment the form.
