Just about every facet of Bizens beauty is covered on the four sides of this tall vase by Living National Treasure Isezaki Jun enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Bizen Kaku Tsubo. The piece shows spectacular hi-iro and burnt red clay with a bank of ash during firing. Each side is unique, and there is never a dull moment. This vase was shown at his exhibition celebrating 50 years of potting, and is featured in the catalog image number 23. This is not to be missed!
