This is very unusual and fine classy Japanese Kiyomizu Yaki Sake set by Sawamura Tosai 3 rd (1951-). It is made with fine quality Kiyomizu Yaki refine earthern body. The wall thickness on Tokkuri is only 1/16" Thick less than 2 mm. So as Sake cup has only 1 mm thick on wall. Tokkuri as well as 2 sake cup has the hand written signature of Tosai in blue underglaze (sometsuke)...

Rich gosu blue glaze covers this stoneware chawan with three areas of lyrical slip trailed decoration around the bowl. Made by the great-grandson of Kawai Kanjiro, this chawan by Kawai Sota is an excellent example of his work and the current direction of the Kawai-mon now approaching a century of tradition. This chawan measures 11.5 x 11cm and is in excellent condition with its original signed wood box.

A very cute small Chinese white glazed turtle attributed to North Carolina potter Virginia Shelton of J.B. Cole Pottery. On the base bottom there is an indication that there are some initials, but they are almost completely mostly obliterated by the glaze. In excellent condition, this little guy would make for a perfect and fun paperweight and a great piece for the collector. Measures 1.75" high, 2.5" diameter.

A rare miniature red glazed North Carolina pottery chicken signed Owens. Measures 1.5/8" high by 2" long.
