A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by Antonio Pineda, Taxco with onyx cabochons in the well known 'Comma' design.

Measure 3/4" at the widest and 1 1/4" high. One earring is marked with the Antonio crown and Silver. The other is marked 970, Eagle 17, and Hecho en Mexico. Screw backs hold securely.

These earrings have some very minor dings to the edges, surface scratches and some tarnish...

An amazing 970 silver necklace with crescent shaped bezel set onyx cabochons in a cascading design by Antonio Pineda.

This necklace measures about 16 1/4" around with a diameter of about 5". Drops down in front about 2 1/2". Each crescent is about 1 5/8" across.

Has a secure box clasp.

Marked with 970, Pineda Crown, Silver, Hecho en Mexico, Eagle 17 and style number YY 456.

Has some tarnish and minor signs of wear. The stones feel smooth with only one tiny flake to one point...

It's a gorgeous set with aventurine stones and an edgy modernist design. Truly stunning on the wrist and ears. Earrings have been professionally converted from screw backs to clips, and they are easy to wear and very comfortable.

Bracelet measures a closed, wearable length of 6 1/2", with a width of 9/16"...

Being offered is a rare circa 1960 handmade .940 silver (better than sterling which is .925) necklace designed by Hector Aguilar of Taxco, Mexico. Comprising handwrought rectangular panels with incised links; hook closure. Dimensions: 16 1/2 inches long. Each panel measures 1 inch wide. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition.

Shaped as stylized heads, they are hollow cast and pierced for stringing. Faces show on both sides of the beads. One bead has a casting imperfection on one side (see Photo #1); the other side is intact. There are a total of 19 beads; strung together they measure 9 inches long. They are possibly Mexican. Being offered is a circa 1963 sterling silver necklace by Los Ballesteros of Taxco, Mexico, boasting a modern biomorphic design. Dimensions wearable 15 1/2”, 1 3/4" at its widest. Marked. In excellent condition. Necklace is solid silver, not hollow, and weighs a heavy 4 ozs. Los Ballesteros is one of the great Mexican silversmiths.

This disc pin features a large faceted citrine in a bold prong setting. The stone has a light yellow-brown tinge and shows no signs of damage or wear. It is quite secure in its mount. The disc has a warm patina from age; the piece dates conservatively 1960-1970. The back has a secure rollover clasp and bears the marks for Mexican silver (eagle 42, circular 925 Sterling) as well as the maker’s mark for Los Ballesteros. There appears to have been a pendant bale or hook that has been removed...

Bold pendant earrings with a deeply oxidized design of stylized animal faces. The panels are impressed with the design, and there is a bit of wear to the oxidation, but the effect is still striking. The panels also have a graceful curve, which also enhances the design. There is no maker’s mark; one screw back shows a mark of 980 Taxco, the other, sterling/Taxco/Mexico. The entire length of the earring, including the rounded top, is a little over 2 inches. Weight: 13.5 grams

This great, large Taxco Mexico mod pendant / brooch measures 3" x 2 1/8". It has a cool geo shape with three dangles. It is sterling silver with inlaid azur-malachite: blues and greens. The back is signed with all hallmarks: STERLING TAXCO, AC, Cecilia in script, HECHO EN MEXICO, Tono in script and numbered 80. This lovely, colorful pendant and/or pin in excellent condition.

A massive, amazing vintage bracelet in 970 silver with 6 cabachon amethysts by Antonio Pineda. The randomly placed stones are deeply set into the silver and appear to be almost floating. The cuff measures 5 1/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/2" opening. It is 2 3/4" wide at all points and weighs 177 grams. This is a heavy bracelet but remarkably comfortable on. This piece is truly a show stopper and I believe to be quite rare...

This graceful sterling silver ring is formed as a stylized snake with an impressed band starting at the head and tapering to the tail. The impressed area is nicely oxidized and decorated with contrasting circular elements, one of which serves as the snake's eye. The patina is soft and is nicely enhanced by the oxidation. A vintage brooch by Taxco artisan Enrique Ledesma with a sterling silver overlay on a shell background. There are two small round inlays of copper.

Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Marked on the back with a partial Ledesma, Taxco, 925, and an Eagle mark. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely.

Fine condition with some tarnish. The shell is a deep brown with lots of swirls.

Rare design.
