Constructionist brooch by important jewelry maker Sam Kramer, who produced avant-guarde jewelry in his New York based shop in the 1950s. This interesting piece consists of two arked triangular shaped pieces, which move freely on a tall silver bar. This allows the pieces to move up, down, and side to side, but not to move out of the crossed configuration. Corretly signed with Kramer's distinctive mushroom hallmark as shown. An abstract, geometric cuff bracelet made of thick sterling wires and flattened sterling curved areas by the NYC jeweler, Henry Steig.

Measures about 5" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures 2 1/8" wide. Can probably be adjusted slightly. Fits snugly on my average wrist and does not turn, (which is good). Signed on the inside with Steig Sterling. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Outstanding hand wrought design.

A silver pendant necklace or brooch with a large fused glass on clay jewel by noted modernist jeweler, Elsa Freund, (1912-2001). Beautiful, rich sparkling blue colored Elsaramic jewel.

Measures about 2 1/2" across and 1 1/2" high. Three dimensional. Signed Elsa on the back.

Has a rollover closure on the back that fastens securely. Also shown suspended from a black silky cord. Could be worn on a chain or neck ring with the addition of a bale. Has a little tarnish...

Matching silver necklace and bracelet in large repetitive waves of acid-etched links, c.1950's. This modernist design has a hint of deco and is quite heavy, weighing a total of 4 1/2 troy oz. The bracelet is quite generous in size measuring 1 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" long with 19 curled links folding into each other. The necklace measures 7/8" wide by 15" long and has 44 links. These links move and jingle playfully against each other but the piece is masterful...
