An abstract modernist mixed metals brooch by Irvin and Bonnie Burkee. Copper with sterling silver overlay. Measures 1 1/4" long and 5/8" wide. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Marked BURKEE on the back. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Interesting piece from a well know Mid Century artisan.

A sterling silver hand wrought necklace with eight lightly hammered leaf shaped dangles of graduated sizes by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004). Berridge referred to these types of designs as mobiles.
The necklace measures about 16" around, and the longest drop falls 1 3/4". Marked Berridge Sterling on the back of one leaf and Berridge Hand Made on the underside of the hook clasp. The hook closes securely. An extender could be added if needed...
Wonderful post modern hand made sterling and gold ring by Novak, c. 1970's. Of very large dimension, the design shows a soaring bird with a gold head flying high above the band. The gold is directly soldered to the silver. The wing span measures 1 7/8" wide and stands 1" above the band and is size 8 1/4. The ring is signed in two places "NOVAK 925" and is in excellent condition. Very exciting and thrilling piece....$8 USA insured shipping plus applicable NY sales tax.
Fabulous large and fascinating sterling ring by Karram, c.1970's. As you turn the ring it is completely different around. Made of heavy gauge silver, it weighs 16 grams, is size 6 1/2, and is about 3/4" wide. Signed in "KARRAM(handmade) STERLING" and is in excellent condition. Gorgeous hand made made modernist sterling and agate pin by Brannon. Beautiful agate set in textured silver pin and measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/2". Signed "BRANNON STERLING" and "TO JOY 7/10/83 LOVE BOB". The dramatic focus of this 1970s necklace is a pendant of applied molten sterling silver on a trapezoidal frame. It is set with small jade and onyx cabochons, as well as one moonstone bead. It is suspended from a handmade sterling neckring with a hook and button clasp. The pendant and neckring are marked sterling; there is no maker’s mark. The pendant measures 2 ¼ inches by 1 3/8 inches; the neckring measures about 18 inches around. Gross weight: approximately 52.5 grams

This bracelet features an oxidized, textured surface with an unfinished look often associated with hand-crafted jewelry and at times, brutalist design. The pins holding the panels together are slightly bent, but are secure and contribute to its handmade look. The fold-over clasp is secure, and there is a safety chain, probably added later...

An abstract sterling silver brooch and or matching pendant with neckring by Modernist NYC Silversmith, Henry Steig. They have a folded three dimensional design with a pearl.
Brooch measures just under 2" long and 3/8" at the widest. Rollover clasp holds securely. There is a little wear to the top surface of the pearl but you have to use a loupe to see it.

A modernist sterling silver necklace by noted artisan, Johannan Peter from the Israeli artist colony, Ein-Hod.
Two layers of sterling, the bottom has a lightly hammered texture. The top wires serve as embellishment and also as the link connectors.
Marked Made in Israel, ST, 925, 'PH'. Has a hook clasp which holds securely. Dark, warm patina. There is a minor repair to one of the connectors on the back that can't be seen from the front. Measures 16" long and 1 1/8" at the widest...
Composed of a curving piece of forged wire, these earrings evoke a feeling of graceful movement. Each wire design is attached to a constrasting static teardrop-shaped top. They have secure posts and a nice patina from age. They are unmarked, but test definitively for sterling. Each earring measures just under 2 inches long by 1 inch wide. Gross weight: 5.7 grams total
