Two(2) pendant necklaces made of brass and silver by the famous NYC modernist Ed Wiener. One of the necklaces is signed:"ED. WIENER" and they are in excellent condition. Each concave disk has a free form applied silver wire and bead design. One pendant measures 2 1/2" and the other, almost 2". They are each hanging on sterling chains, 30" and 19". Very rare brass and enamel pin signed "MACCHIARINI", c.1940's. Peter Macchiarini(deceased) was a very famous San Francisco modernist jewelry designer and his works are extremely desirable. The provenance of this piece has been identified by his son, Dan Macchiarini. He states that it was a private commission by someone wanting a clown face. This turned out to be a joint venture between Peter and his then student, Virginia De Haas, whom he later married...

Matching silver necklace and bracelet in large repetitive waves of acid-etched links, c.1950's. This modernist design has a hint of deco and is quite heavy, weighing a total of 4 1/2 troy oz. The bracelet is quite generous in size measuring 1 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" long with 19 curled links folding into each other. The necklace measures 7/8" wide by 15" long and has 44 links. These links move and jingle playfully against each other but the piece is masterful...

A very striking pair of vintage sterling and aventurine handmade, one-of-a-kind earrings by Israeli Modernist designer Rachel Gera. Hanging 2 3/4" long and 1" wide, they have clip backs and weigh 29grams total. They are in fine original condition and signed as shown. Great green stones and a very fun design. Born in 1936, Rachel Gera passed away in February of this year. Her creations were all very unique.

A rare hand wrought modernist link bracelet and matching earrings in Sterling Silver by the well respected jewelry teacher and author, Philip Morton. He is the author of the book "Contemporary Jewelry" where he demonstrates jewelry making techniques and highlights talented and noteworthy artisans. He helped found the Society of North American Goldsmiths in 1968.

Measures about 15" around. Central drop measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/4" across. This drop is signed Elsa on the back.

A spectacular bracelet by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs comprised of six sterling silver wired wrapped irregular shaped polished stones including amethyst, white quartz, rose quartz, rutilated quartz, aquamarine and citrine. The bracelet measures 8 1/2 " end to end but because of the thickness of the stones, it fits a wrist of 7- 7 1/2" or so. The stones are beautiful and smooth with lots of natural inclusions. It is in fine original condition, no chips or cracks...

Measures about a 5 1/2. Face of ring measures 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Marked with Sam Kramer's mushroom mark and sterling. Has some minor surface scratches, some wear to the surface and tarnish. Heavy sterling.

Great MCM design. Haven't seen this design before. Sam Kramer's designs are highly collectible and rare.

An amazing sterling French Cuff Bracelet by the well known Arizona modernist silversmith, H. Fred Skaggs. Has three large jewels in varying shades of purple and pink and one small purple stone on the other end. Not sure if they are stones or art glass. May be amethyst.
