An amazing modernist large sterling silver pendant with a 28" chain by Jens Peter Clausen Gudjonsson of Iceland. Signed JENS Handmade Iceland and 925S. Pendant measures about 3 5/8" long and 3" across at the widest. Thick sterling. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A vintage sterling silver modernist ring and/or pendant by Karl Laine for Sten and Laine from Finland. May purchase individually or as a set.

The ring measures about a size 7 but is adjustble. Top measures 3/4" across. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, Three Crown mark for Finland, 925, Town mark for Turku, V7 for 1974 and Finland. Has KL on the side for Karl Laine. Very nice condition.

The pendant measures 1 1/4" long and 3/4" at the widest...

This Cini sterling rose fur clip is hallmarked Guglielmo Cini by Cini sterling. It is 1 1/16" by 15/16th".

A modernist sterling silver necklace with a large central pendant depicting a hunter with two deer by Los Castillo. Two layered shadowbox design.

Marked Los Castillo Taxco around Eagle 15, and design #115. Pendant measures 3 1/4" across and 2 1/8" tall. Necklace is a total of 15" long. Has a box clasp that holds securely. Fine condition, some minor scratches to the surface and tarnish. Some small dings to the edges that are mostly seem from the back. Some wear to the oxidization...

It looks like this is a Matl year for One Good Eye Silver and I couldn't be happier about it! A few months ago I presented a Deco Matilde Poulat cross pendant necklace with kneeling angels and today I am featuring another, possibly earlier, variation of the design but this one wrought in fine, .980 silver...

Heavy, early and wrought out of fine, .980 silver this Mexican Deco cuff bracelet is one of William Spratling's "archaelogically-inspired" creations of the renowned maestro's First Design Period. Thick silver sheet is carefully shaped and deeply hand-chased here with the gravitas of the labyrinthine geometric motifs further enhancing the piece's physical heft...

Fabulous and early 19th century ring in silver with a center rectangular genuine pale aqua green beryl, genuine pearls, and surrounding tiny dark green stones which are probably glass. With two tiny illegible hallmarks. It tests positive for at least 800 or 900 silver. Ring size 5 1/2. The top of the ring is 5/8 inch by 5/8 inch. Excellent condition. Measures 2 1/8" long and 1 3/4" across. Marked Sterling Lasak. Rollover clasp holds securely. Lightly hammered. Has some minor tarnish.

Figural sterling snail pin by famous NYC modernist Bill Tendler(1924-1981), c.1955. Snail has original oxydized finish with applied silver dimensional coiled shell measures 1 3/4" wide by 1" long. Of good weight, pin is signed "TENDLER STERLING" and is in excellent condition. Being offered is a mixed metals circa 1950s .970 silver (better than sterling) necklace & earrings set by Antonio Pineda of Taxco, Mexico, concave silver links featuring applied copper elements supporting turquoise stones. Dimensions necklace wearable 15 1/2” size. Each link is 3/4 of an inch wide. Marked. In excellent condition. Superb and important set, an early Pineda combination of metals and stone.

This signed Matilde Poulat necklace lays beautifully and is a statement maker at 1.5in. tall and approximately 18in. wearable length. The quality workmanship is further demonstrated with a weight 122 grams. Hallmarked with pre 1960 patent and registration. One would be surprised to see that this necklace is fantastic with jeans and a white blouse. All Matl lovers should include this in their collection, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

This large Fred Davis amethyst brooch was produced 1930's - early 40's. Measuring 4 1/2" long, 2 3/16" wide, it features a gorgeous hand-carved amethyst tulip. Pin closes with a roller. Signed and hallmarked with a conjoined FD and Silver Mexico. Weight is 32 grams. In excellent vintage condition. Some very minor abrasions on the edge of the tulip, but nothing seen without magnification.

A museum quality oval pendant signed Benevidez (Johnny) and Tim Yazzie Sterling. Possibly a piece by both men who are Santo Domingo/Navajo artists. The Tim Yazzie mark is not typical however if one searches the web, one can find similar pieces created by both men. Silver overlay designs highlight the intricately cut lapis,onyx and turquoise stones. A solid pendant, it measures 3-1/4 x 1-1/2" and weighs a hefty 49gr. The sterling collar has a hook clasp and is marked TS 91 Taxco 925.

Crafted in the late 1950s or in the 1960s, this sterling silver Mexican necklace is signed by Victoria or Ana Maria Nunez de Brilanti. Victoria is one of the few female designers and silversmiths of Taxco’s 20th c. Silver Renaissance that we know of and she is credited, among others, for perfecting the “metales casados” or “married metals” technique. In this necklace, however, she adds a modernist twist to an otherwise “archeological” design...

This frog bracelet is 7 1/2" long and 3/4" wide. Each frog link is marked "925" .This bracelet is in excellent condition.

One of the best and largest silver pins by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1948. Beautiful repouseed floral pin showing play between oyxidized deep lines and shiny surface silver. Very large, it measures 3 1/2" long by 3 1/4" wide. Signature is unusual showing eagle mark(not usual bellmark), one of the earliest dies ordered from Germany - "eagle mark 940 HA TAXCO".
