These earrings are small but have a strong design that evokes arts and crafts style. They feature applied silver leaves and beading on domes with an oxidized, darkened surface. There is a central copper bead mounted in a silver bezel. The earrings are marked 925 on the backs with sturdy posts; they may have been converted from screw backs at one time. A rare hand wrought bracelet by Madeline Turner, a New York City Jeweler who worked from the 1930's to the 1950's. She designed jewelry for Georg Jensen USA. In sterling silver with periwinkle blue art glass cabochons. Marked with her conjoined M Turner hallmark. Measures about 6 1/4" around and about 1" wide. Clasp snaps closed tightly. Beautiful vintage engraved chain necklace with a toggle closure, in gunmetal gray. Iconic hand wrought sterling silver & amethyst butterfly or moth brooch designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). We have a superb Los Castillo 18in. long necklace to offer today. The links are 1 3/8ths tall making for a striking presence. The stones have no cracks or chips and also have no striations that come to the surface of the amethyst. The color is a beautiful mix of milky swirl and jelly purple. Properly hallmarked as shown with the old linear mark for Los Castillo when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Don Antonio Castillo. Definitely a collectors treasure.

An elegant Art Deco platinum filigree ring centered by a .70 old European cut diamond mounted in an octagonal surround of caliber cut synthetic sapphires (typical of genuine Art Deco period rings). Dated 1856, 18k yellow gold ring with the front engraved in a floral pattern. Beautifully done, and in great condition. The front of the band is wider, measuring 8.2 mm and it tapers in the back to 3 mm. The ring size is an 8.5 and the overall weight is 5.8 grams. Measure 1/2" at the widest and 2" high. One earring is marked with the Antonio crown, 970 and an Eagle mark. The second earring is marked Hecho en Mexico. Clips hold securely. These earrings have some dings to the edges, surface scratches and some tarnish.
