Two very cool brooches in brass by Peggy Miller, an American studio jeweler who worked in Baltimore in the 1950's -60's. May purchase as a pair or individually.

The fish brooch measures 2" across and 1 1/2" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Signed Peggy Miller on the back. Has some tarnish.

The stylized owl is made from two layers of overlapping brass. Measures about 1 5/8" high and 7/8" across. Also marked Peggy Miller on the back. Rollover clasp holds securely...

The gold surfaces are cast in a rough texture that contrasts beautifully with the bright diamonds set in platinum. An exceptional gilt filigree scarab bracelet marked on the box clasp LORAN SIM. The company was in production during the 50's-60's in Providence, RI. One link is attached to the filigree by a small thread.(It's very hard to discern, though one may want to have a jeweler resolder it.See photo with blue scarab.)Please refer to the carnelian scarab for internal cracks. The real stone scarabs measure 3/4" x 5/8"; the bracelet 7.5" x 1".

A heavy, dramatic necklace composed of three rows of interlocking links soldered together. The outer rows are copper, and the middle row is brass; both metals have retained their luster. The brass clasp is very secure and is marked on the back Mexico with a partial Tlaquepaque’s, and the maker’s initials FCS underneath. The necklace measures 7/8 inch wide and about 18 inches long; it is slightly curved. Weight: 81.5 grams

This Razza ram pin is gold tone metal with a very dimensional resin-like insert that is made to look like carved ivory. This Razza pin is in excellent condition. He is 1 7/8" x 2 1/8". This pin is hallmarked "Razza" in a rectangular cartouche.

A vintage modernist brooch with a thick etched sterling rhombus over another open layer by Anna Greta Eker for Norway Designs Studio Plus. Haven't found another example of this brooch.

Measures 2 3/4" long and 2" high. Has a rollover clasp that closes securely. Marked with the stylized ND for Norway Designs Plus Studio, 925S, and A G EKER in script.

Has a little tarnish and some scratches. Some may be able to be buffed out but not where the etching is...

An intriguing contributor to Mexico's 20th c. Silver Renaissance, Taller Taxco is a workshop that, as far as my experience goes, created jewelry that were solely based on Salvador Teran's designs. High quality, attention to detail and generous weight distinguish their work from other, "lesser known" modernist talleres yet to this day, a relationship between them and Teran has not been firmly established...

This beautiful pin measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". The two interlocking circles with in fine filigree. The back is marked 1/20 12K G.F. WINARD. It is in excellent condition.
