Artisan crafted sterling choker necklace. The necklace is constructed of thick, solid sterling silver, terminating in dramatic long spikes. The opening is 5", and the necklace weighs 47 grams, 1.66oz. Unmarked but tests as sterling silver or higher.

Here is a fascinating Georgian-era ring, possibly a mourning ring, which could have been worn by one of Jane Austen’s more affluent characters. It features a rose-cut diamond (pointed top instead of flat), set in 14kt gold with decorations in black enamel on the shank, which are still in excellent condition. The ring is approximately size 5. These 1920s two-sided cuff links are nicely decorated, with molded circular centers reminiscent of engine-turned engraving and black enameled, eight-sided borders. They are marked sterling on the backs and the buttons are securely connected with soldered bridge links. Each measures ½ inch wide. Weight 5.6 grams

This interesting handmade pin is composed of thin interwoven silver rods that evoke an unfinished piece of textile. It is sturdy and the secure pin stem and clasp are applied so as to wear the piece on a diagonal. On the back is an applied plaque bearing the mark for Mexico and 925 for sterling, and an unidentified serpentine mark that looks to have been struck twice. The piece is possibly from the 1960s or early 1970s. It measures 2 inches by 2 inches square. Weight: 21.2 grams

Composed of two rectangular layers of sterling silver, top one curved and with a cutout comma-shaped design exposing a highly oxidized interior. The ring is marked sterling and has Joseph Skinger’s script signature mark. Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. I am told by Carol Skinger, Joe's daughter, that the design is known as 'Mountain Shadow' and was produced as choker necklaces, bracelets and pins...

Sterling silver "palette motif" modernist ring with a green Chrysoprase stone. Circa 1950s. The stone is cracked at the bottom near the bezel and only evident upon close inspection. Priced according to this flaw. Ring measures 3/4" x 1/2". Size 6.5. Unmarked.

This bracelet consists of 6 hinged links, each slightly convex. Each has a lovely, filigree design with a decorative border in which the turquoise blue, Egyptian, faience scarabs are set. The bracelet is silver gilt and measures 7 3/8" long x 3/4". The hinge is very interesting. It is a trombone type.
